The corruption arrest of Gov. Rod Blagojevich is raising questions about what Sen. Barack Obama knew of the Illinois Democrat's alleged activities, including his apparent offer to appoint Obama's preferred candidate to serve in the U.S. Senate in return for "private sector" help from Obama.
"This is a burgeoning crisis for Obama that should shake his presidency to its core," said Tom Fitton, chief of the Judicial Watch organization today.
"The criminal complaint filed today indicates that Obama and his team knew about Blagojevich's efforts to sell Obama's Senate seat," he said.
"Did Obama report Blagojevich to investigators about any efforts to sell his Senate seat?" Fitton asked.
ABC's Jake Tapper also expressed concern over the same issue.
On his blog, he wrote that while appearances seem to indicate Obama "refused to go along with the 'pay to play'" Blagojevich plan, there were significant questions.
For example, he wondered "how Blagojevich knew that Mr. Obama was not willing to give him anything in exchange for the Senate seat – with whom was Blagojevich speaking? Did that person report the governor to the authorities?"

Jesse Jackson Jr. was the leading contender for the senate seat. His sister is one of Obama’s daughters Godmother.
The FOX 3 initially were 'doing the talking points'...Obama is not connected...junk.
Then Mancow comes on and says Nonsense!...he's all over this mess..(paraphrasing only slightly)
Later the FOX 3 start talking a bit differently, forgetting (somewhat) their earlier mantra.

0bama resigned his Senate seat much sooner than others in the same position had done, because he knew Blogo would need some time to get the bidding going.
The reality is that Blago, Obama, Rezco, all the Chi town machine are tied together.
All the Friends did to refute Mancow was say that Obama says he never talked to Blago. Well, reality says that Axlerod has already said O had talked to Blago.
People will let this fraud of Obama to lie without calling him out.
Obama is crooked, and he is as bad as Blago.
This country is dead, stick a fork in it. No one will stand up and call out this wrongdoing anymore. That is why the rot has eaten us from inside. Very sad.
However, I'm holding out a tiny bit of hope that Obama will get caught in this net....
..some folks here highly affirm Fitzgerald as a straight shooter, an honest guy.
We'll see....even though it seems obvious Fitz stopped this investigation before Obama stepped in it...(if he hasn't already stepped in it)

Yep, I hear it. None of these people should be saying anything. Fools, all of them. Truth is, none of them have any idea if Obama is involved or not. I am sure old Nixon would have loved a press pass like that.
It is really very repulsive. Another day of “lets all pretend Barry can do no wrong”.

This will go absolutely nowhere. You could have a picture of Blogo sitting in O's lap and it wouldn't go anywhere. Just some more corrupt politicians doing there "thing"...business as usual. We, the people let them get away with it, so why not? Ho Hum. ZZZZZ.
