"International Monetary Fund Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn has warned that advanced nations could face civil unrest during distressful economic times "[S]ocial unrest may happen in many countries – including advanced economies" if the economic crises are not properly dealt with, Strauss-Kahn said.

This is the crucial part of the body, but missing, though through no fault of the poster.

The IMF shoulder a huge responsibility for the mess we are in.

I was listening to Catherine Austin Fitts last night on the radio. She said the government would use “nonlethal weapons” — radiation, noise, whatever they have in their arsenal, and you’ll crawl back to where you came from.

Guns aren’t going to be much of a help against that.

Those really are shocking. I think if guardsmen tried that in my neighborhood they would be more than “uncomfortable”.

Obama's Civilian Security Force will not be covered by Posse Comitatus and therefore free to shoot us at will.

And vice versa. Anyone joining Obama's Civilian Security Force should carefully consider the consequences. They will be putting themselves and their families at grave risk if they attempt to rape our liberties.

Called Cheaper-than-Dirt mail order to buy several hundred rounds of .223 after seeing an ad for 7.99/box of 20 in the January 2009 American Hunter and they would not honor the price. Said the price was now 14.30/box.

We, as a free nation, are in perilous times.

This hasn't been a free nation since 1865

ROAD APPLES,

This is not Africa, Athens, Paris, Tunisia/Algeria, Somalia.

This America

This isn't conjecture. These are statements from the War College and the IMF. "It can't happen here". Yeah, just keep saying that to yourself as they string razor wire around your neighborhood, and offer you food coupons for your guns "for your protection". This is El Norte, with at least 30 million foreign invaders already in place, a communist coup has taken over the Federal government, the state governments are broke, and the currency is about to be incinerated by the banking cartel known as the "Fed".

It can't happen here? I am looking for just one thing standing in the way. Can't find it.

Once the FedGov releases the new Chocolate Dollar (commodities back currency) your greenbacks will be toilet paper anyway.

Or, they will just issue paper money with expiration dates on them like some guy proposed. That was in California (where else?) in the last Depression.

LOL

I was going to suggest getting your loot in $1 bills, so at least you CAN use it as toilet paper.

“military force against hostile groups inside the United States.”

Seems to me the government is the hostile entity here.

Now now, observations like that are doubleplus ungood. You'll fear who you are told to fear, and love who you are told to love. So remember, under George Bush, the government was to be feared, the Constitution was imperiled, and terrorism was a fantasy created by Halliburton.

Now that the government has be liberated by the Change Coup, big government is to not only be trusted but loved and enlarged, the Constitution (flawed as it is) is now safe in the hands those who will change and ignore it as required, and terrorism requires us to use the US military domestically.

And if you question or remember anything differently, you'll have to be uncreated (see Joe the Plumber).

I sure wish more of the foods I eat and basic goods I need to survive were made nearby, by people I know and trust.

I’ve always felt a bit insecure knowing most of these essentials will not be available to me and my family should any part of the complex supply chain be interrupted.

I buy local whenever possible. I may pay more, and it may not be the most efficient use of resources, but the security of knowing at least some basic needs can procured from people whom you trust... is priceless.

Is it only a matter of time before they start populating the Fema camps? The one in Indiana looked to be ready for business, from the youtube vid I saw recently.

Can't find it using Dogpile, dammit. I know I'm not hallucinating, but I think when I read about it, it was during the Carter inflation. I thought it might have been Upton Sinclair and his EPIC Plan but it's not in there.

I can see the use it or lose it as a way to force the buying of goods in deflationay times....
This professor discusses that aspect, issuing "New Money" instead of cash.

I’m not so sure the military would be the ones to fire on the American people. After all it’s thier country as well. Which begs the question of who in the government would.
