Began 5,000 years ago? Bloody Egyptians and the machines used for the Pyramids did it then!
It’s Tut’s Fault.
If the Earth warms it’s global warming. If the Earth cools it’s global warming.
Surely, something cannot have, as proof of its existence, two completely opposite things. Especially when those two things are the only things that can be or can happen.
Because that’s just plain cheating.

Milankovitch cycles are the collective effect of changes in the Earth's movements upon its climate, named after Serbian civil engineer and mathematician Milutin Milanković. The eccentricity, axial tilt, and precession of the Earth's orbit vary in several patterns, resulting in 100,000-year ice age cycles of the Quaternary glaciation over the last few million years. The Earth's axis completes one full cycle of precession approximately every 26,000 years. At the same time, the elliptical orbit rotates, more slowly, leading to a 21,000-year cycle between the seasons and the orbit. In addition, the angle between Earth's rotational axis and the normal to the plane of its orbit moves from 22.1 degrees to 24.5 degrees and back again on a 41,000-year cycle. Currently, this angle is 23.44 degrees and is decreasing.
The Milankovitch theory[1] of climate change is not perfectly worked out; in particular, the largest observed response is at the 100,000-year timescale, but the forcing is apparently small at this scale, in regard to the ice ages. Various feedbacks (from carbon dioxide, or from ice sheet dynamics) are invoked to explain this discrepancy.
Milankovitch-like theories were advanced by Joseph Adhemar, James Croll and others, but verification was difficult due to the absence of reliably dated evidence and doubts as to exactly which periods were important. Not until the advent of deep-ocean cores and a seminal paper by Hays, Imbrie and Shackleton, "Variations in the Earth's Orbit: Pacemaker of the Ice Ages", in Science, 1976,[2] did the theory attain its present state.

Yep, it was caribou hunters on the Siberian steppe. They triggered global warming by idling their SUVs too much on long hunts and lighting they yurts with incandescent bulbs.
Just repeat after me. Scam.
I still believe Gore got this gig to appease him for losing the 2000 election.
Now we now who to blame!
“Well, I think that the simple answer is that we should just go extinct, then.”
Well sure and not just losing the election - losing his marbles in the aftermath. The global warming tour for algore was the modern day equivalent of making baskets and wallets, after he went off the deep end.
Yup, its still up there came the (significantly) muffled response from one climate advocate. No wonder Im so concernced about Methane. Its everywhere. Run! RUN!! QUICK, SOMEONE LIGHT A MATCH!
I had no clue we had SUV’s back then...
Blam is checking on them.

Hogwash.
This is easy.....wonder why nobody thought of it. If humans are causing “Global Warming”.....get rid of the humans. Geeeesh.....how hard is that?
Professor Zbigniew Jaworowski has pretty much demolished the use of ice cores for historical CO2 concentrations.

“Must have been a very energetic species
to do all that by hand with rocks tied to sticks.”

Your tribe had rocks tied to sticks?
My tribe could only WISH we had such as that.
We only had rocks, and we were under constant attack
from the nearby “stick” tribe.
These guys are totally washed up. It didn’t start 5,000 years ago. It was really 5,000 years ago and one day. But what a day that was.
Well then, that's a cause for celebration!!! Humans wouldn't be doing so well if glacial ice sheets were covering large portions of the northern hemisphere......
LOL
