Campbell's Soup pledges more 'gay' ads ('2 mommies' spread only 1st in marketing agenda)

Despite being pressured by traditional family advocates to stop, Campbell's Soup Company, maker of Swanson's brand broth, has vowed to continue spending its advertising dollars in pro-homosexual publications.

As WND reported earlier, the American Family Association objected to a Swanson's broth magazine ad that depicts a lesbian couple and their son. The ad was placed in the December 2008 and January 2009 issues of The Advocate, a magazine that touts itself with the line, "For 40 years, setting the standard in LGBT journalism."

Campbell's Soup, however, has brushed off the AFA's complaint.

MediaDailyNews quoted a company spokesperson explaining, "Inclusion and diversity play an important role in our business, and that fact is reflected in our marketing plan."

According to a Campbell's representative, "Our plans for the Swanson brand include additional placements in The Advocate."

Don’t be naive, if the 98% found out about this gay support from Campbells, dollars to doughnuts they WOULD care and would start boycotting their products.

All soup is gay, didn’t you know?

Not the soup mom makes. Not the soup dad makes. Not the soup grandma made. Not my soup. My soup is 100% bonafide heterosoupual.

I do not like that soup turned gay

I do not like it any way

I do not like it in a bowl

I do not like it with a roll

I do not like it here or there

I do not like it anywhere

I do not like gay soup I say

I do not like that soup turned gay!

Just covering my backside lest someone construe this post or any part thereof a hate crime or an attack on anyone's or any company's lifestyle and/or business practices/model choice(s) and potentially Constitutionally guaranteed right to gay soup.

“Campbell’s Soup, however, has brushed off the AFA’s complaint.”

Wonder if they’ll brush it off if inundated with threats of boycott by thousands of individual consumers...

I’m gonna do my part and make my opinion known.

It’s very simple — you define the entire universe as soup eaters. Then you say, how can we divide all those soup eaters into groups — cutting the soup eating demographic pie into increasingly smaller slices. Then you create an ad for each of those little slices.

What aren’t the gays involved in anymore???? I really wish them back into the closet. I need to get a juicer & learn how to make V8 juice as I will be boycotting as much as I can. And I plan to tell these companies why too.

Folks like Rush Limbaugh & Sean Hannity need to publicize this. We need a full-fledged publicized boycott just like the homosexuals and perverts do. I’m tossing out of the shelves all Campbell soup products etc and calling the local grocery stores and letting them know of the boycott. We need to mobilize and do what the gays and lesbians do. This time, let’s make sure that what’s sauce for the goose is good for the gander.

Their gay agenda should have been clear even earlier. Spaghetti O’s is obviously a lesbian soup: all O’s. A heterosexual soup would have also had X’s. And with a like number of X’s it would have been an admirable monogamous soup, too.

Ah jeez it’s a gay magazine. I don’t agree with porn either, does that mean I should boycott those companies who try to make a buck off their readers? Rush Limbaugh always says he’s running a business. So is Campbells. What do I care if they advertise in a magazine I would never even hear of if it wasn’t for this post? This is not like they are advertising on cable or broadcast.

I have to agree. It'd be one thing if this was a TV commercial. I see nothing wrong with a targeted ad in a specific magazine. Gays gotta eat, too.

Look at the list of companies — some of the largest advertisers on the globe are included. Probably several billion dollars worth of advertising on that list.Money talks.

There’s his bio, but no email shown. Not even given when you click on the email link to the company (on another page).

But for Campbell’s to have a featured demographic it says they support that lifestyle. How about if they would have just had the Campbells logo with a bowl of soup pictured without a gay couple. That would be considered neutral, but yet I would still probably have a problem as they still decided to accept ad dollars in a GAY PUBLICATION. This ad was overtly gay showing a lesbian couple and a kid probably wondering where his father is. That is unforgetttable and unforgiveable. Campbells is going DOWN!

It’s also about MONEY. The gay demographic has higher and more disposable income.

I actually like their products but it won’t be much of a sacrifice to stop using them.

No soup for me.

Good luck with that. I’ve gotten on with Hannity’s call screener about a few homosexual agenda items, only to be ridiculed off the phone.

Do these companies think they actually have to have ads directed at homos just to get then to buy their products?

Do these companies think there are more homos then straights?

Must be run by homos.

Glad I don’t use much of anything on that list except Swanson’s broths.
But there again I can make my own broth and my own soups are much healthier.

Adios Campbells, stick it where the sun don’t shine.
