If Steele withers and turns into a “bi-partisan reach across the aisle hands across the table” gutless Democrat Lite, then the RNC and Republican party are toast ...

I am from MD too. I hope he is not a RINO. MD is very liberal. Some of his comments about reaching out were scary, and he jumped on Rush over “Puff, the magic XX”

Good, Steele is a good conservative. Plus he has a great charisma on tv and can communicate well. The GOP needs a new public face that can connect with people.
And, yes its a plus that he can be critical of Obama without having to worry about being called racist.
A lot of the RINO callers are supporters of the surrender monkey Ron Paul, that is not a Republican but a Libertarian and ran as an Independent candidate, not a Republican. If there is any RINO in the Republican party, it is the surrender monkey Ron Paul.
