Common Tator is very, very ill, battling cancer...lung, to his liver.

My is so muddled right now, I don’t know who to post this to.
Ray is completly out of it now, not able to speak. I talked to his step-daughter a few minutes ago, and she said it is basically just a matter of time. I was going down tomorrow to see him, but she said that they prefer only close family to be there. Although I feel like I am Ray’s family, I will respect her wishes.
I’m just so blessed that just a few days ago, he gave me his last column, via telephone, which AF Phys helped me with. It’s on another thread.
I hope this post makes some kind of sense. My heart is hurting, I just pray for Ray to have a peaceful passing, and his step daughter said she would call me when that happens.
I can’t imagine my life without him. I guess I am in denial, I don’t know. All I can do is ask for your prayers.

Dear Lord, please shed your lovingkindness upon our friend Ray. If it can be part of Your Plan, I ask that you halt and immediately reverse the cancer in his body and completely cure him from all its effects, and allow him more time with us. If that not be Your Will, I ask that he be relieved of the ravages of the pain, that he makes all Peace with You, and with the others in his life. In Jesus Holy Name. Amen.

My prayers will be with both of you. I know how difficult this is.
Oh Lord of all, stretch out your merciful arms and embrace our brother. If it is your will, heal the cancer that is in his body. Surround him with your love, take away all of his pain and his anxiety, and when it is time let your angels bear him up to be with you in paradise. I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
