I was shocked to learn of the comment made by President Obama about Special Olympics, Governor Palin said. This was a degrading remark about our worlds most precious and unique people, coming from the most powerful position in the world.
These athletes overcome more challenges, discrimination and adversity than most of us ever will. By the way, these athletes can outperform many of us and we should be proud of them. I hope President Obamas comments do not reflect how he truly feels about the special needs community.

Same here. She’s being really careful, picking and choosing her fights well.
He has a new blog entry that refers to the youtube video obommie made to Iran. At the end of the video, obommie makes a comment speaking in mooselimb - anyone knows what he said?

I say “so what”?
Many of us, when we were younger, didn’t have any sense, and a lot of us were liberals.
The difference is, WE GREW UP.
(They don’t)
He has special needs ( um...err...ahhh..., cognitive disorder/dysfunction).
And he has to deride those who are in special Olympics, to feel better than they are.
God Bless Aarah! I want so much to see her kick OholyO’s arse in 2012!
You made my day with that one.
Aarah = Sarah! D’oh

[We must be at the end times or something that a jerk like Obama is adored while a great person like Palin is attacked and ridiculed.]
Yes, that really says a lot about the reason we are in such trouble.
Interesting choice of words. She specifically did not say "the most powerful person in the world."
POST 21, THAT IS A GREAT POST!!!
I can not bring myself to go there. Just accessing the site lowers one’s IQ by about 100 points. However, quickly logging off of it will restore a person to normal. (phew)
Sarah's doing something right, they got their knickers all in a twist.
The thought of Sarah being on the same stage with Obama makes me nauseated. I have surfed around the major newspapers to read the comments section on news stories related to Obamaâs comments. I am amazed at how much his comments are being criticized. Of course there are the standard apologists, but this comment has made many people upset. As a person with a physical disability, and confined to a wheelchair, I was appalled. If a politician made a comment about any other minority group they would be hung out to dry.
She must have been making a subtle reference to TOTUS.
It seems that way back in the late 60’s when the standards were lowered to accept what was described as individuals (Blacks in particular)who were denied entrance into colleges and universities because of there race. Well, not all college grads are the sharpest pencils in the box, regardless of their race - including yours truely.
I guess we are reaping what we have sown.
I bet Greta will report it.
WAY TO GO SARAH! I AM SO GLAD YOU CALL A SPADE A SPADE!
I was amazed at the voice comparisons done between Sarah and Obama on Rush Limbaugh today. It almost made me tear up.
