Romney to call N.H. home? [speculation that Romney will run again in '12] [BARF]

Could it be the latest sign that Mitt Romney is preparing to run for president again?

Hotline is reporting that Romney is making moves to establish his legal residency in New Hampshire -- site of the first-in-the-nation primary.

The former Massachusetts governor is selling homes in Belmont, Mass., and in Utah, and plans to spend time at his summer home on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in the Granite State, notes Hotline, the political blog of the National Journal.

See my original post #4 on this thread which started the whole firestorm. Romney will do more damage to himself if he tries to attack Sarah Palin than any pitiful post you can write.

I don't know what post 4 has to with any of my posting, but the mind blowing aspect of this is that you don't know how people compete for a nomination.

Romney is running against Governor Palin and any other conservative that gets in his way, do you understand how that is done?

You Romney cultists get weirder and weirder.

There, fixed it for you.

"Who's Mike Murphy? He's a Romney guy!
He's hated Palin from Day One...when she was announced as McCain's VP nominee,
he was the jerkwad on the air with Peggy Noonan when she made her infamous hot-mike disparaging remarks about Palin...
nd he himself was calling the Palin choice "gimmicky" and "cynical."
They never gave Palin a chance.
They had contempt for her and for the ordinary Americans she represents."

"Murphy is a Romney hack.
Although he worked for McCain in 2000, he switched to help Romney for the 2008 race.
He now works for Palin-deranged MSNBC as a token Republican."

Gotta stay in the area of the country that will elect a Republican (wink-wink) like him...

Huckabee won Iowa by playing the religious bigotry card.

I just HATE when that happens!

http://scriptures.lds.org/en/js_h/1/17#17

17 It no sooner appeared than I found myself delivered from the enemy which held me bound. When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!
18 My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)—and which I should join.
19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.”
20 He again forbade me to join with any of them; and many other things did he say unto me, which I cannot write at this time. When I came to myself again, I found myself lying on my back, looking up into heaven. When the light had departed, I had no strength; but soon recovering in some degree, I went home. And as I leaned up to the fireplace, mother inquired what the matter was. I replied, “Never mind, all is well—I am well enough off.” I then said to my mother,
“I have learned for myself that Presbyterianism is not true.”

It would be funny if Jindal becomes Mormon and then what would you do?

The SMART thing to do, would be for Mitt to become Christian!

THEN he might have a chance in this country!

We are going to have to work day and night to block his purchase of the nomination, he is already building on a 150 million advertising campaign that has repackaged him to many more impressionable voters.

Have you met my cousin's boy?

He's gonna be President some day!

“All that would do would make the candidate with the most name recognition win and give even more power to the national media to pick our candidate”

I agree, plus the demands of the campaign, as it is now, better shows the ability of the candidates to meet the demands of the office.

“Something is wrong with people who won’t put down roots”

Agreed, also I have learned to beware of people who don’t have hobbies (don’t know why, maybe it’s that idle time thing). I have heard a lot about Romney the last few days (probably too much) but does anyone know what his hobbies are .... does he have any.

I know this is another thread about Romney, doubt anyone will cover new ground, but I have a question about other potential candidates. Are there any threads that discuss other candidates as extensively as Gov. Romney. I have done a search and get multiple hits on Sanford (mostly state stuff), as well as Gov. Jindal and Gov. Palin so they are at least getting exposure but I’m not sure if it relates to the presidential campaign.

I get no hits on Gov. Barbour (though he is associated with the organization that must not be named) nor are there any hits on Gov. Riley, plus I am not sure how many of these are even interested in the presidency. Please add a link to any of these people concerning their candidacy.

He can’t purchase the nomination unless there is enough corruption in the electoral system to allow it, is that the case and what is being done about it? Second I think the tireless effects should be directed to supporting a candidate that will make Gov. Romney irrelevant. See how that works, civil and relevant to your post. I welcome such replies from you.

If you asked a Romney supporter they would have to say that his lifelong hobby is hunting.

In a question-and-answer session Tuesday in Keene, N.H., Romney spoke of his experience with hunting in a manner that suggested a close affiliation with the sport.

"I purchased a gun when I was a young man. I've been a hunter pretty much all my life,'' he told a man sporting a National Rifle Association cap.

Thank you for your enlightened argument that something written by a Mormon leader more than 150 years ago is the moral equivalence to Mike Huckabee bringing a religious test into a political campaign. That's almost as sound an argument as Rosie O'Donnell digging up Timothy McVeigh to prove that Christian fundamentalists are just as dangerous as the Islamofacist terrorists who killed more than 3000 Americans on September 11. Brilliant!

We should all just join denominations that preach "Believe whatever and do whatever as long as it makes you feel good."

They will have to get a group of 'bots as Mitt has before multiple daily threads are started..
