The issue didn’t go away with the campaign, and now it’s found its way into the West Wing.
At Robert Gibbs’ Wednesday briefing, radio host Lester Kinsolving asked whether the White House would satisfy several hundred thousand petitioners by releasing “a certified copy of [Obama’s] long-form birth certificate.”
Gibbs appeared incredulous. “You’re looking for the president’s birth certificate? It’s on the Internet, Lester.”
“Long-form, listing his hospital and physician,” Kinsolving clarified.
Laughing, Gibbs replied: “Lester, this question, in many ways, continues to astound me. The state of Hawaii provided a copy with the seal of the president’s birth.
“I know there are, apparently, at least 400,000 people who continue to doubt the existence of and the certification by the state of Hawaii, of the president’s birth there,” he continued. “But it’s on the Internet because we put it on the Internet for each of those 400,000 to download. I certainly hope by the fourth year of our administration that we’ll have dealt with this burgeoning birth controversy.”

Lester Kinsolving = the clanging of a thousand gongs, signifying nothing. Kinsolving + Gibbs = two people talking at each other with no real information exchange.

This den of liars that is the 0bama Whitehouse needs to come to the understanding that they work for us, not the other way around.
The US Constitution is specific in the requirements for holding the office of President. To date, 0bama has not provided ANY SHRED of evidence that he is eligible to hold the office.

I have Ohio birth certificates for all three of my adopted children, with an official seal.
All three indicate that my children were born out of the country as foreign citizens.
Well, now Obama really can’t deny any knowledge of fraud regarding the forged COLB released on the Internet at Fight The Smears and Daily Kos. His Press Secretary said today “we put it on the Internet.”
So, thank you, Mr. Gibbs. You’ve implicated the POTUS in a conspiracy to commit fraud.
I believe Gibbs was born in Lee County, AL.
It means that by the fourth year of the Obama administration, Obama will have appointed at least two, if not three, justices to the Supreme Court and the SCOTUS will have ruled that Obama is indeed a natural-born citizen. That’s the plan, baby. :)

And four months into President Obama’s term, the controversy surrounding his original birth certificate continues to dog his administration.
The Obama campaign, you’ll remember, posted a copy of what it said was the document on its Web site to try to dispel rumors that he is not an American citizen. But, an online petition calling for the release of what it describes as the president’s complete birth certificate with the hospital name has almost 400,000 signatures.
Today the president’s press secretary was incredulous that the issue just won’t go away. In a White House briefing he said: “This question, in many ways, continues to astound me. The state of Hawaii provided a copy, with a seal, of the president’s birth… I certainly hope, by the fourth year of our administration, that we’ll have dealt with this burgeoning birth controversy.”

Kinsolving didn’t have a good follow up question — like why is barry spending millions on lawyers rather than produce the real thing.
Kinsolving wasn’t allowed any follow up question, and neither was anyone else.

The State of Hawaii NEVER "Certified" that Obama was born in Hawaii.
The State of Hawaii simply indicated that they had his vault Birth Certificate on file, as follows:
"Hawaii Health Department Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said that she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama's original birth certificate. "(AP report)
In short, Fukino only confirmed that Obama was born...
NOT that he was born in Hawaii!
