However, between September, 1939 and December 6, 1941, while America had it's head firmly stuck up it's it's isolationist rectum, Great Britain was manning the ramparts of the defense of Western Civilization.
Meanwhile, France had surrendered to the Nazis and was actively hindering the liberation of Europe. During the invasion of North Africa, the first American casualties died as a result of the Vichy French.

England, which held out alone under the great Churchill, is being snubbed, and all their sacrifices dismissed. All so the French leader can make his curtsey to a small-time Chicago thug politician who got luckier than he had a right to expect. And who also never sacrificed anything for anybody, much less in a war effort on behalf of his nation (if this is his nation).
