WASHINGTON – The White House says Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor acknowledges she made a poor word choice in a 2001 speech in which she said that a Latina judge would often reach a better conclusion than a white male judge who hasn't lived the same life.

That's according to presidential spokesman Robert Gibbs. He says he has not talked directly to Sotomayor about it but has spoken to people who have.

Did Obama fire the White House kitchen crew? He sure seems to eat out a lot.

Imagine her votes based on that ugly racist attitude.

No different than her decision on the baseball strike.

In the midst of negotiations she chose the side of the players against the owners.

Billionaires vs. millionaires.

Idjit!

Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor

Who she is and where she's from doesn't matter. Don't fall for the bait.

Talk about what we DO want rather than what we DON'T want. Otherwise, the left sets the agenda.

Talk about what a good Constitutional candidate would be like.
Quote the founding fathers intent and how a good judge would uphold it.
Quote the Constitutional rights and how they're designed for ALL the people.
Talk about a GOOD candidate, and let the viewers decide which type of judge they'd choose. My guess is they'd rather have one of ours rather than her (leave her out of the discussion personally).

Don't fall for Obomas bait! Talk about what a good judge would be like, not her, and let the viewers decide if she's a "good" candidate for themselves.

(thank you for opening the eyes of the American voters)

Mr. Gibbs: Does the president believe he makes better decisions than the his 43 white male predicessors because of his Afro-American experiences?

Follow up sir: Is the president’s judgement as a black male as good as an hispanic female?

Better yet, I think we need a race-based ratings system for opinion values. That way we could balance everything out, by say, trading 34 white guys at Justice for 7 hispanic women in State, and keep track of any race-based opinion deficiencies across the federal landscape.

Which word, Judge?

Wise. She meant 'unwise'. Or stupid. Either one.

Oh, and she added, "Thank you for voting for me."

Which particular word does she think was the wrong one? I’m going for the whole sentence, myself.

"It has long, however, been my opinion, and I have never shrunk from its expression ... that the germ of dissolution of our federal government is in the constitution of the federal Judiciary; ... working like gravity by night and by day, gaining a little today and a little tomorrow, and advancing its noiseless step like a thief, over the field of jurisdiction, until all shall be usurped."

--Thomas Jefferson, letter to Charles Hammond, August 18, 1821

She’s a racist, driven by identity politics. Next question ?

Oboma is using her as race bait.
Questioning thoughts and words is not racial. They have no flesh. "Her words are overwhelmingly racist". "Her politics are blatantly biased."

It’s nice she’s meeting with them. Hopefully, they do not give her too much advance information about what they intend to ask her in the confirmation process.

That whole sentence and the intent behind it is garbage. It’s an insult to all my ancestors who busted their butts day in and day out to rise up from poverty and provide a life for themselves.

EXACTLY! It was white males who founded this great country that gave her the freedom and the opportunity to rise above her humble origins and....

Oh, forget it!

The democrats and Republicans have gotten to be so much alike, I can't help but think they're playing good cop/bad cop.
I'm sure they'll be "unbiased" enough to throw her a few hints. Heck, the RINO's will type her a complete list word for word.
