Until we have real conservatives in office, I don’t know how. Until we have a super majority and rescind the regulatory and departments of stupidity, we are stuck with this. Either Barack Obama is being very imprecise with his language, or he is one scary dude. I think the latter is true.
If I continue breathing, evidence shows it is not necessarily going to result in me living to see tomorrow. I could get hit by a bus, a bullet, or a wayward Space Toilet. By this language, no care would be justifiable unless there was a 100% guarantee that the patient would improve.
By that standard, all medical care should be suspended immediately.
We The People should begin to consider Impeachment for this president who can't even produce his birth certificate. President Bush would have had those papers served on him within hours of declaring Senior Citizens a burden to America.

My mother lived in her home until about a month before she died (at 94) even though she was in declining health. This winter she fractured a bone and was in excruciating pain. She had successful surgery but age caught up with her and she died about a month later. As far as I’m concerned (and the doctors too) the surgery was completely worth it.

Bottom line is that a socialist economy needs some workers to pay into the system (to keep it afloat and pay the annointed ones) but it can’t survive with too many non-producers. Thus the young unwanted or disabled, too old to work, dissidents and anyone else who is “surplus” or irritating has to go.
I know for a fact it will not -- I already got the "live with it" brush-off back in 1998, I was 35. (It took nine years of doctor-to-doctor-to-doctor to find one with the compassion to care about me, treat me). This *Marie Antoinette, let them take a painkiller* attitude is evil incarnate.
Yep. I'm at the point where we as a people need to seriously consider taking to the streets armed and firing and marching to D.C. If I die being bombarded by a predator drone, or hit with chemicals from a fighter, so be it. I'm not going to survive for long under Obama's care plan, so may as well go down fighting.
There is so much wrong with 0bama's *example* here, it would take pages to lay out rebuttal, but one thing I'd like to point out regarding his "take a painkiller" toss-off. How many stories have you heard where painkillers were not allowed to a dying patient because the health care provider does not want to get that patient hooked? I would like to have been in that room last night to ask the follow-up, "What if that person is denied the painkiller you suggest due to the (irrational, IMMGAHO) fear of dependency??"
