who authored the bill? Which Marxist?
Isn’t HR 45 the brainchild of Bobby ?, a Chicago congressman and former domestic terrorist that has received no co-sponsers? If that is so then this is old news.
Ok this is an effort to attempt to counter the state sovereignty bills.
Gotta kill it.
This won’t withstand Constitutionl muster, but we must stop it anyway. Call, email, and write.
yeah, bobby rush, and old black panther terrorist. I believe he got this rolling back around jan. 2009 iirc.
It’s so stupidly, if I can borrow a term, written that it won’t stand a chance in the current supreme court.
This one making the rounds again? Is it even out of committee yet?
It was reintroduced Feb of this year as a Home land security bill, anti terrorism. Does not currently have any co-sponsors as you say, BUT, the rational for regulating firearms is troubling, as interstate commerce clause if a fav amongst statists everywhere.
This is just another effort - wait until these socialists phuks announce that if you have ever had a certain type of prescription or medicine that you are no longer “mentally stable” enough to possess a firearm. The enemy is here and the negroes and liberals elected this Kenyan.
Thanks for the assist.
This congress is really afraid to touch the gun issue right now. That’s not to say they will put it off forever but this HR 45 is going nowhere.
The irony is that he served six months in the pokey for firearms possession.
I told you to watch those interstate and instrastate crap. Congress has been doing this for years to get what they want without public knowlege.
"..In 1968 Rush went AWOL from the U.S. Army, co-founded the state's Black Panther Party and later was honorably discharged. [1] The following year he served six months in prison for illegal possession of firearms.[2]
[snip]
Rush introduced the Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009 on January 6, 2009. This bill, if signed into law would require all owners of hand guns and semiautomatic firearms to register for a federal firearms license. All sales of the subject firearms would have to go through a licensed dealer. The bill would also make it a criminal act not to register as an owner of a firearm. H.R. 45 does not have any co-sponsors and has been referred to the judiciary committee.[13].."
Bobby Rush is bitter about his firearms arrest and wants to get even. This particular bill is going nowhere.
From his Wiki:

From LA Times:
Fidel Castro to Congressional Black Caucus members: ‘How can we help President Obama?’
The aging, ailing, cigar-smoking icon Fidel Castro had three members of Congress visit with him today in Havana, which resulted in the bearded one asking, “How can we help President Obama?” In an effort to improve the relationship between Cuba and the U.S., Reps. Barbara Lee (D-Oakland), Bobby L. Rush (D-Ill.) and Emanuel Cleaver II (D-Mo.) were the first U.S. officials to meet with the 82-year-old former dictator since his intestinal surgery in July 2006.
Greg Adams of the U.S. Interests Section in Havana confirmed that the three members of the Congressional Black Caucus met with Castro
Great I hope is DOA! A bad week for Obama, is a good week for the country!
Not much but enough to qualify him becoming a dimocrat congressman in Illinois.
