What is certain is that capital has lost control of the political process. Labor has won in Europe and the United States and the social results are predictable.

We are rich because we are productive, and we are productive because... ...we are free people with personal property rights.

I like the end of October myself right after the start of the Mideast War.

Our founding fathers understood the threat to capital that is a king. They severely limited the power of a central government and vested real political power in small states where people could get to the capital to voice opinion.
Since the 1930s. we have looked to a king in Washington to do more and more. Our property rights and civil rights have suffered greatly.
We need to return power to local control to protect our capital from the overreaching hand of a national king. Or, call Lizzie and give her the constitution back and call it a failed experiment.

A tip of the tam o'shanter and a wide bow for a kind sooth sayer to take notice of a capitalist pig such as I.
(And I don't know where the bread is going to come from to pay for Obamam's dreams and still pay for the day to day functions of .gov)

LOL! ‘Your movement>?’
With your arrogance and condescension, you are not going to attract anybody but liberal-types.

i will bet you $1 (paper or silver your choice) Baying, I hope you're betting today's one dollar of phony silver rather than the real thing.

Yes, my movement. Conservatism is my movement. I belong to it, I identify with it. Lots of other late comers that don't like actual conservatism and want to replace it with something else, would enjoy hijacking that movement and taking it someplace else. But I'm not going with them. I'm a conservative about what's conservative, you see. Conservatives like our institutions and our traditions and do not think they are horrible or need chucking for something more radical. They like this country and think it is great, prosperous and free. They are grateful for these things, not little bundles of resentment and spite preaching doom and destruction to any who do not bow before some new ideological god. You see, I have their number and I will not put up with them.
