This was on Glenn Beck’s show yesterday.
What a rare moment to see Bernanke so flustered as this very sharp congressman burst into laughter at his pitiful answers. What is not so funny is realizing this man and a few members of the FOMC can literally give away TRILLIONS of tax dollars and refuse to tell Congress who got the money. The Federal Reserve Act of 1913 needs to be repealed NOW.

Worth watching. 1/2 a trillion dollars were given to foreign central banks by the US Federal Reserve.

Because he’s a leftist and a very dangerous one. However, on this issue, he’s right on the money.

This congressman is a Democrat too. Maybe there is still some hope.

I am convinced the ONLY reason that our economy and money hasn’t completly crashed is that the magority of people are SO STUPID now they don’t understand the paper is trash...only ignorance is floating the boat.

Our saving grace is no matter how bad things get in the world...most people would come here if they could.

That and our great supply of natural resources is keeping the lid on somehow...

There is a bill that has been introduced by Ron Paul to audit the Federal Reserve and has received overwhelming bipartisan support.

H.R. 1207 Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009

There used to be Democrats in this country that generally, although partisan at election time, got down to the business of ALL American people after the elections. There are damn too few of them left in my opinion. I’d hazard to say this Congressman isn’t all that liberal. If he is, he is certainly appearing to be fiscally conservative.

Here’s another good video that talks about H.R. 1207:

I detest Grayson. He doesn’t care that money is being spent all he cares about is who has control over it.

He wants everything under Congress. Obama wants everything under the White House and Bernake just wants to go home.

You can bet money of the fact that it is a stop gap to prevent them from demanding payment on more CDO's. Bernanka is telling one.

Republican must run against the Fed, against Goldman Sachs, against the World Bank. Embrace our inner Ron Paul and yes even Alex Jones in a torrent of populist frenzy and take back the House. I feel crazy saying all that, but I really believe there is such a barely-suppressed rage lurking out there, that linking GS with the DNC is political gold in 2010.

Goldman Sachs was one of Obama’s BIGGEST money contributors during his campaign.

This is my first awareness of Grayson. He did well with Bernanke, has an impressive bio, I thought hey! we’ve an up-and-comer I wasn’t familiar with...then I saw that he’s a Democrat.

Can you tell me more about him? Thanks.

I see him on Bloomberg from time to time. Very bright but very liberal. Generally follows the Barney Frank school of interview where one ignores direct questions and babbles on about how Bush messed everything up.

Again, he doesn’t care that the Fed put the money out there, he just is irritated that it was done without Congress sponsoring it.

John
