Just a side note. I was there! everything coming out of
scotts mouth is a lie. We were there at 10:00 AM.
They said this was a meeting for the road but told us they
would answer questions about health care in a while.
Meeting was from 10-12. went on till 2 and a lot of people
had to leave. No one had anymore questions about the road,
so they opened it up for any questions. First was the DR.
and then one more guy started to ask a question and the
meeting was closed. Mad? yes I am..Sorry for the rant.

It makes me think of the time I saw a woman in a wheelchair (I think she was missing at least 1 leg) getting Gestapo-ed by TSA at the Orlando Airport, while trying to get on a plane. I’m sure that lady or the lady today with the t-shirt are out to hurt us! /sarc

My understanding is that it is “voluntary” but that doctors, etc. will have a monetary incentive to initiate it. Can you say “preying on the elderly”?
This “town hall” will have national repercussions. This one alone could be the death knell for socialist Ubamacare. Specter will, in the weeks ahead, help kill this. He knows how to do it, too, since he was a major player in killing Hillarycare. Specter desperately wants to be re-elected and he is not a stupid man.

What they don’t understand is there will never be any files. A friend works for IBM. He said they got a contract to write just such software, for maintaining medical records. They could never make it work. A database would have to be beyond anything currently available to maintain so much data. It pretty much just isn’t possible.

That’s part of my point — just ‘voting the right way’ is not enough...
We need representation that ‘gets it’ that this is a death-battle against the end of the Constitutional Republic by congressional fiat...
We need people who will use every parliamentary trick in the book - bite, kick, scratch, eye-gouge, and then fight dirty - to drive a stake through the heart of this horrific power grab *before* it ever comes to a vote....
