I was on the phone discussing business when Fox reported the suicide rate for returning Vets has already gone over the 100 mark for July. I went nuts. I started yelling into the phone that this just isn’t right. The number is way too high.
Troops coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan are being AUTOMATICALLY treated for “stress” and “depression.” They are being administered psychotropic drugs and synthetic tranqillizers like Xanax whether they need them or not.
These guys are being medicated with drugs PROVEN to increase incidents of suicide and violence. Psychotropes dampen or suppress inhibitions that normally would stop someone from committing acts they otherwise would not. Add Xanax and it is a double whammy. There is no self control. It allows sudden outbursts of rage that would otherwise be minor annoyances.
These drugs can account for the increases in domestic violence from returning Vets, AND many other things as well including suicide.
Something is very, very wrong here. VERY wrong. It should be stopped immediately.

Horrendous. I hope some of our BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome) conservatives here are rethinking their hatred of Bush. Maybe he wasn’t so bad after all...
A lot of these “questions” are actually suggestions planting the seeds of fear or doubt. If you are taking psychotropes, these kinds of “questions” feed the fear or create it where it did not otherwise exist. The mind does not have enough control to evaluate what is real from what is perceived. It is a horrible situation.
The mind is usually very stong. It can take a lot of stress and stay healthy. A mind on these kinds of drugs is like an empty blackboard waiting to be written on. Its natural defenses are gone. Most psychiatrists and psychologists KNOW this, and these suggestions attack the vulnerable subconscious part of the mind.
It is evil.

Maybe this will make people understand that humanism’s thirst for death knows no limits. It wants to kill the human spirit directly through “health care” or, if it can not get away with that, on a daily basis it works to kill human bonds, inspiration, beauty, kindness, trust, freedom, honor, loyality and love. It works to kill the reason for living.
Many think the culture war has to do with the fight for and against the killing of unborn children and “sin.” It is not best described as that. Humanist activists struggle for the power to kill the human soul and spirit in everyone from conception to death.
I helped a woman who was in an accident and came out paralyzed from the waist down when I was in my early twenties. When it first happened, she wanted to die. It was humbling, painful and it was difficult. Then the dark clouds passed and she has lived another twenty five years in love and joy - just like she was inside before the accident. She has more years yet to live.
When she said she just wanted to die, I would say, “well let’s see how you feel about it in a few months after we get through rehab...after we get you an apartment...after we get you a car... That is one kind of support to a person who is hurting and scared. I was inspired to help this woman with no family by the compassion and love of Christ because, otherwise, I really was not all that great of a person at that age.
And then there is the death warriors who would have said to her when she was down, “okay, I will help you die. Take these pills.” And they act like wolves standing over their prey when they get ahold of a mark. Once they get the unhappy, eldery or handicapped to sign off on this survey, it is their death sentence and humanists will use their power to keep you from interfering like they do with abortion.
People just do realize the dark spirit moving in and enveloping this society. I’m sorry to say, there is no stopping it through the State power. It owns the elite and it sells itself 24/7 in the culture and in education. It owns a lot of the medical profession and soon, it will own it all. We have each other and we need to be wise and protective of each other.
