I've been watching the 9-12 Glenn Beck video all day and I'm pissed. I can't stand the Republicans, I don't do if for them, I hate them. But when I watch that video and see our founding fathers it stirs me like nothing else, they were noble men, worthy of our sacrifice. How weak are the American people going to look if only a few thousand show up? That pretty much gives them the "full steam ahead" message. I'm leaving home Friday night and sleeping in my car and Marching on Saturday, I can make it there on time. This is it, it's for my children. My oldest son is 12, his world is screwed not to mention my younger children. It's now or never. I've been disconnected for some time, not caring (because it's pointless) but voting properly only to make no difference. I am ready for action and I am pissed that we failed, we failed our founding fathers, we failed our soldiers, and sadly, we failed our children.

Scythian, I am also going to D C. Driving there myself from the deep south. You are right. Our cause will be lost forever if only a few show up for this Historic event. If anyone is to take this country back it is We The People.

Too bad you “hate” the Republicans. Beck has evidently succeeded in taking the pressure off Dems and Obama by making — falsely, imo — the two parties equally responsible for today’s mess. Whatever came before, this is OBAMA’s spending; OBAMA’s policies; OBAMA’s healthcare plans. Naturally, with the help of majorities in both chambers.

If Republican/conservative voters stay home because they believe Republican candidates are just as bad as Dem candidates, the Democrat majority will be even greater.

And just what will that accomplish? Beck will be spared no criticism from the left by pretending that he’s not talking about Obama. He IS. And he should be: that’s who’s in office supporting all this horror and who’s appointing the corrupt czars.
