Attorney Orly Taitz, a national figure in the “birther” movement and lawyer for an Army captain who sought to stop her deployment to Iraq on arguments that President Barack Obama can’t legitimately hold office, has filed a motion to withdraw as the captain’s lawyer.
Taitz, who represents Capt. Connie Rhodes, filed her latest motion Saturday. It cites two court documents as reasons for withdrawing from the case — a Sept. 18 order from U.S. District Court Judge Clay Land threatening $10,000 in sanctions against Taitz and a letter purportedly signed by Connie Rhodes, which asks for Taitz to be removed as her attorney.
“In order to defend herself, the undersigned counsel will have to contest and potentially appeal any sanctions order in her own name alone, separately from the plaintiff, by offering and divulging what would normally constitute inadmissible and privileged attorney-client communications,” Taitz states. “The undersigned attorney will also offer evidence and call witnesses whose testimony will be adverse to her (former) client’s most recently stated position in this case.”
It appears, however, that Taitz didn’t sign her motion. Court records filed Monday state that the motion must be filed again because Taitz didn’t sign it.
Asked about that document, Okubo said, “This is the same certified copy everyone receives when they request a birth certificate.”

The notarization of Obama’s signature was made by a Virginia notary and as such is subject to Va. Code 47.1-16 (effective July 1, 2007). The Virginia law requires that: “Every notarization shall include the date upon which the notarial act was performed, and the COUNTY or CITY IN WHICH it was performed.”
Violation number two occurred when Ray Anderson, Notary failed to note when his own authority to notarize documents expired. The Virginia law requires that requires it with the word “shall” is stated here, “Upon every writing which is the subject of a notarial act, the notary shall, after his certificate, state the date of the expiration of his commission.”

You know, I just read that .. and I have to confess it’s the first time I’ve looked .. but it’s true. The document is from AZ ... the notarization from VA .. and the notary page is cut off, eliminating full view of the page, including the notary’s expiration date.
Now .. I await further confirmation as to the validity of this document.

I don’t know what to make of it...as an Australian, I don’t understand the history or source of SCRIBD documents and articles. Who places them?
The fact that the bottom of page two in this instance has been cropped makes me very suspicious.

Haha! It’s sort of like photo-bucket for docs and text. I could put anything up there including items that have been tampered with.
No wonder Orly is asking for notorized originals, SCRIBD is nothing but a TOY.
Some more of her California plaintiffs need to either engage Gary Kreep and his legal associates, or find another attorney.
She’s NOT saying Obama’s is correct. SHe’s saying this is the type people receive. There are other quotes more pertinent.
Such as:
“I don’t know that it’s possible for us to even say beyond a doubt what the image on the site represents.”
Yup.
Perhaps they will be sworn in, but the fraud is to be laid directly at Barry’s feet. It was his website which first posted a jpg image of a CoLB which lacked a raised seal. When that was called to their attention, they placed a raised seal on the first image and claimed that was then genuine. There is an artifact in the image of the first exhibit which shows up in the second exhibit with the raised seal, but not in the third exhibit claimed by factcheck to be the ‘handled’ CoLB. Of course, factcheck vouched for the first and second exhibits also, so they are about as honest as the sleaziest used car salesman you could imagine.
You can pick up a phone and call HI Vital Records and find out that the ‘journalist’ is absolutely wrong. Vital Records will supply a photostatic copy of the original Certificate of Live Birth, if a legally connected source requests it and it is actually in the paper documents vault/storage, but it takes weeks to get it from the vaults, as explained to me when I called and asked after Jon Klein tried to tell his lie and force it out of Lou Dobbs’ mouth.
