Low unemployment and consistent economic growth under Bush was described by the democrats and their propagandists in the MSM as the ‘worst economy on recent record’, while near 10% unemployment, and a recession is called a ‘recovery’ under Obama. Real unemployment (U6) is near DEPRESSION rates at 17% (and that’s almost certainly understated!). If I had to guess, I would say that real U6 is around 20% and some sectors and localities are well over 25-30% or more. Those are Great Depression numbers, no matter how you spin them.

Companies are not going to get caught with extra employees if/when there is a double dip recession. My company is going through annuL budgeting and many department are requesting additional headcount. We are telling them “not this year”. Wait until 2011...
