NKorea's latest missile tests failed: report
(AFP) 40 minutes ago
SEOUL North Korea's short-range missile tests earlier this month were a failure with none of the five projectiles reaching its target, a report said Thursday. The North test-fired five KN-02 missiles with a range of 120 kilometres (75 miles) from mobile launchers off its east coast on October 12.
Radio Free Asia, quoting an intelligence source, said four of the five missed the mark and one did not even launch properly.
"Two fell into the sea right after launch, another two missed the targets and the last one failed to launch," the source said, according to a Korean-language report on the US-funded radio's website.
South Korea's military and National Intelligence Service would not comment. Yonhap news agency earlier this month quoted a source as saying three of the five missiles "may have fizzled".

Doesn't matter. Li'l Kim's intentions were good. For libs, that's all that matters.

On the down side, Iran is building reliable short and medium range missle systems, with some help from NK. While "Dear Leader" can't get his rockets off (har!), Iran is building missle systems that will work, not to mention nuclear warhead capabilities.
They’ve sent us a message, EPIC FAIL!
It was also reported that the five people assigned to light the fuzes on the rockets were also killed.

Michael Moron is deeply saddened by this missile failure.
Exactly right, Broncobilly. Each failed test is a Learning Experience, and the NorK’s intentions are becoming clearer every day.

You are taking this to mean that they are using ship/sea-based launchers, and I don't think that's the case at all. To me it reads that they are launching from land-based truck launchers off their east coast. I've not seen it reported anywhere that they have a sea-based launch capability.
On second thought, you may be right.
These failures were a welcome blessing.
Even so, none sit back in relaxation —indeed SK and J should put their own SDI & ABM efforts on FULL SPEED. NK’s own efforts will remain totally undiminished, as Chia slips ever closer to his bug food kingdom.
Were either country attacked, let there be no doubt that Obama would pensively interlace his fingers in the Deep Thinker Teepee gesture, and simply look on detachedly.
