Fort Hood soldier describes horrific scene to family in Utah (Shooter shouted Allah Akbar)
KSL television ^ | October 5, 2009

Posted on 11/05/2009 9:45:02 PM PST by lady lawyer

The news of the mass shooting at Fort Hood Thursday hit close to home for some Utahns. One man says his daughter heard the shooter exclaim "Allah Akbar" as he opened fire.

We want to stress that no government or military officials are reporting that and there is no way for us to independently confirm that it is true.

The family from northern Utah agreed to talk to us, on the condition we not identify them and blur out some photos they've supplied, because they're worried their daughter could get in trouble with her superiors for making public what she told her family she saw.

The soldier's father says his daughter was at Fort Hood Thursday when the shooting happened, and she called him, frantic and upset, soon after.

"She said, ‘Dad, I'm OK. Don't worry, I'm OK.' And initially I said, ‘What are you talking about?' She said, ‘Haven't you heard?' And I said, ‘No.' And she said, ‘We've been attacked by terrorists,'" the father explained.

He told KSL News soldiers were sitting in a staging area for medical and dental checks when the group was startled by gunfire.

"A person behind counter stood up, and he said, ‘Allah Akbar!' And just opened up on everybody," the father told us.

Ck this out...I went into the school office and asked who I should direct my thoughts to. Before I could even sit down w/the principal, she said, “He won’t be coming back”. I can only assume that I wasn’t the first parent to discuss this matter. I am all for speaking different languages, just not this way...not now.

She was at the location to fill out her paperwork for status change. Thank you for acknowledging her child was the 13th victim. The family is just stunned. She was newly pregnant & a good young girl

Excellent. It took a lot of courage to go up there, but you are your child’s only advocate! Make sure you take the front office some nice cookies for the holidays. =)

You know, I’m not a racist, but I have to tell you that Japan’s immigration statutes seem to be fairly sound to my way of thinking. I would think their Muslim exposure was fairly limited by them.

We here in the U.S. just don’t use common sense. People from all over the Middle-East are raised to hate the United States. The Muslim contingent is particularly suspect. I don’t actually fault them if they wish to think ill of the U.S., but don’t bring your hatred here. Stay in the nation that you like. If we’re not inhabiting your nation, then be thankful and leave us alone. Sadly, they won’t play by these rules.

For this reason I think it’s just plain suicidal to bring more Muslim people here. Until those people as a group decide it’s not an option to kill U.S. Citizens, don’t let them in.

I’m not even convinced it’s a good idea to bring people to the U.S. that don’t like Christians. Are we to become a Muslim nation? The signs of the tail wagging the dog are too numerous to ignore IMO. Even at the sparse numbers there are now comparatively, there is push back across the board. What happens as that percentage grows? It’s the same problem we have with other groups. They come here because of the greatness of our nation, then seek to turn it into the same hell-hole they escaped from.

What is wrong with us as a people, that we can’t comprehend this and take measures to avoid it?

Yes Japan does it right. It just boggles the mind that we can’t. That must change, or we are going to reap the whirlwind. Heck, we already are.

Thanks for mentioning what Japan’s policy is. We could learn a lot from it.

State Run Media.

I just have a hair trigger with anyone bringing up “he was just nuts/post traumatic stress/people were mean to him and he snapped” stuff.

Can’t help myself.

I understand. I am also a little paranoid about the MSM and of course the Obozo administration.

Never trust them when it comes to accuracy of what they say.

Their actions are a lot more revealing.

Somehow, I’m guessing Hasan will fight this all the way

Wouldn't be surprised. But hopefully he'll be doing it from a wheelchair, where he and his colostomy bag are strapped in.

"I’m guessing Hasan will fight this all the way. That’s what cowards do."

That is a fact. Too bad the first round that hit him didn't put his lights out. Now we have to pay his medical bills not to mention court costs.

Lots of high fives amongst Islamics when this happened

Many on American soil I'm afraid. This event is considered big medicine among the Islamics.
