A Pittsburgh Steelers fan says he was left blind and is living with brain damage after he was apparently poisoned at a Chicago bar following a game in September, according to a report from WTAE Channel 4 in Pittsburgh.
Zack Heddinger says he and a few friends went to a bar after the Steelers' 17-14 loss to the Bears at Soldier Field on Sept. 20. After trash talking with Bears fans inside Kitty O'Shea's, he says he accepted a drink from them and passed out and was rushed to a hospital. Heddinger said he thought the drink might be "antifreeze or something."

You may run, but I'll find you...
Exactly. I should have read deeper before I responded.
I believe him. Look at where he was: Chicago!
Nah...that wouldn’t be living up to the “standard” set by Commissioner Goodell. ; )
>> Wood alcohol is the toxic one. Or IPA, but not grain.
They’re all toxic! As anyone who has spent time praying at the porcelain altar can attest. Grain alcohol is simply the least toxic of them. :-)
>> IPA
I hope you mean isopropanol, not India Pale Ale!
Is there a quick and easy way to tell the difference between a Bears fan and a Hells Angel?
Squabbles about a stupid game are so juvenile.
Only by playing a team that can challenge you to the max, do you improve your play beyond what it could have been without doing so. The rivalry should be appreciated, and done with good spirits. Rib the other team, but make it just for fun.
The high school, college, or professional sports rivalries are obnoxious and divide us.
Two teams existing in one town, hate each others guts even if they live right across the street from one another. How pathetic is that.
If it’s a professional team, the principle is basically the same. If you want you team to be the best it can be, you want them to play other tough teams. Both teams should get applause when they hit the field.
Boos are nothing but poor sportsmanship, unless there’s some activity that calls for it.
So, they were hoping to take the Steeler fan home and have their way with him?
A nineteen-year-old cat with hip dysplasia and a bad bladder...
I have heard of this 'Brady Quinn'. Pairs Ice skater, right?
I know this is serious, and since I still haven’t forgiven the Steelers, or the Refs, especially Referee Fred Swearingen for the Super Bowls in the 70’s, I will abstain from comment.
I've felt that way too after watching the Bears this year, and all I've had is a couple beers in my living room.

A Hell’s Angel enunciates spoken English more clearly?
really? is this a rhetorical question?
the culture of death desires to remove all obstacles in their way to ultimate power ... by ANY means necessary resulting in the minimum damage to the party's image
It’s the Chicago Way!
You are correct. Methanol and IPA are poisons that we can’t tolerate, though, but our bodies must tolerate EtOH because it’s pretty common in the environment.
Yes I meant isopropaol, which is not good even when dry-hopped.
Hey...we all have our crosses to bear.
OOOooooooooo......I said "bear" again! AAAAAaaaaaargh!
