Geez, it’s like getting hit with a wet spit ball.
I’ll have to hear a lot more before I can get to excited about this.

Whhas a whooping resume that tops Hillary and Sarah if you put them together

As much as I like Ms Cheney, the above statement is not true.

Still I love the notion of her running.

Not another Bush or Bush associate. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to push a Cheney on us since it looks like their Jeb plan ain't gonna work out.

I not one to pan anybody for inexperience but I don’t believe that Liz has run for any elected office to date.

Running for office is a skill in itself. One of the reasons I support Sarah is I know that she deserves a 10 for her talent on the campaign trail. That cannot be underestimated or discounted.

I think Liz should run for a House seat federally or state-wide first.

Sarah hasn't said she's running in 2012. Cheney and Bachmann? Bachmann and Cheney? Personally, Bachmann as Speaker of the House sends chills all up and down my spine. LOL. I'm kidding. But it does bring a smile to my face.

In my humble opinion, I don't believe her people would pick Palin as a running mate because they would believe two women would be just a little over the top. On the other hand, leaving Palin out would be a big mistake. This is a unique situation. So, I think IF she did run it would be her against Palin in the Primaries (and a bunch of men Republicans too) Right now I would choose Sarah but will see how this develops in the future.

I think we might see her take on Jim Webb in 2012. Would be great!

I don't care how articulate she is, conservatives are not going to support Liz Cheney.

At a time when conservatives are craving for someone who has spent their formative years and career outside of Washington, Liz has NO real-world background or executive experience; she is a lawyer who worked on behalf of internationalists and she has worked in the state department. In other words, she's a government bureaucrat/lawyer.

Liz also worked with the Romney campaign.

The ugly truth here is that she'll destroy Palin in a debate, and that what makes it sad, because (assuming this is all true) she is clearly putting her ego ahead of what's good for the nation. Her running for President will just split conservatives and then we'll get a chump like Huckabee/Pawlenty/Romney as the disastrous result.

Liz would be an excellent Secretary of State - and that's pretty much it. I wouldn't even want her for VP because her last name will just turn off independents who remember her father tied with Bush.

I believe the promotion of Liz is from Republican insiders turned off by Palin.

There is nothing that Liz Cheney has said or done that proves she is anything beyond (more conservative) than her globalist, elitest, RINO predecessors, ie; GW Bush, her Dad, Pappa Bush, Jeb, etc.

If it means more of the same RINO compassionate conservatism (big gubmint) Liz Cheney can take a hike.

I'll stick with Sarah.

So a member of the Romney campaign who has never run for office before and can’t win her first race which would be for President of the United States, may run anyway?

That would sure muddy the waters for Romney’s only real competition, the female, Governor Palin.

Liz Cheney Running for President in 2012?

Who would be her running mate? Bugs Bunny?

That picture with her appendages hanging out will sure give confidence to the public.

Rediculous

Liz Cheney has been great. I probably would like to see her run for some kind of office (although starting at the top, for prez or vp seems a bit premature; plus, her Cheney name would probably be a drag with the electorate).

Also, I’d really have to know her stand on gay marriage, owing to her family situation. That’s one thing I’ll never accept in a candidate. They can be 100% rock-solid on every fiscal/defense/whatever issue, but if they are pro- gay marriage, I’ll never give them my vote.

At best Liz is a ‘moderate’. At worst she is left of center and is, like her husband, a globalist.

I like Liz but SARAH PALIN is my candidate. If “they” convinced America that Sarah Palin did not have the experience to be POTUS, what will they do to Liz Cheney?

No more Clintons, Bushes, Romneys, Cheneys.

In Illinois, no more Ryans (related to George or not)

The one silver lining in this election was that there wasn’t a recycled name or incumbent on either party ticket. We hadn’t had that since Ike vs. Stevenson in ‘52.

THe Republican bench got pretty stale. The one good thing McCain did was get Sarah more credentialed.

Perhaps she should get herself elected to some other office, first.

You know - prove she has vote-getting power.
