Apparently there are still some posters on FR who are fast asleep. Wake up! Dammit! We are in the middle of a conservative rebellion! While you were sleeping we, along with millions of other freedom loving grassroots Americans have participated in hundreds of tea parties all across this great land and fully intend to keep it up until all of America is awake. We are fed up and mad as hell! We grassroots Americans are delivering a message to the ruling class: NO MORE!!
No more big government! No more high taxes! No more government bailouts! No more government takeovers! No government healthcare! No more corruption! No more global baloneyism!!
We're sick and tired of liberals and RINOs running roughshod over our God given Liberty!
We want our country back! We want our freedom back! We want it all back!!
No more socialism!!
Cut the taxes! Cut the spending! Cut the government!
Restore the constitutional limits on government! Restore our freedom!!
And not only no, but HELL NO to liberals and RINOS!!

RINOS are traitors and I agree with all you said. I just don’t think any of the ones you mentioned are Commie bastards like that joke in the WH. I’ll take any of them over him. He is a complete idiot, doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing and he hated this country. He just likes the perks. I really think that why he wanted to win. Perks and play time while he followed orders to sign things he was told to sign.
The problem with RINOs, however, is that they are enablers. While they may not be the 'believers' or 'doers' that those named above ascend to, they are willing to allow these traitors to advance their agenda under the guise of 'bipartisanship'. They are willing to be used, and thus are part of the problem.
The Obama administration and Democrat control of Congress is the culmination of efforts over several decades to weaken the bonds of free enterprise and government by the people. And we've arrived at this point in large part because we, the people, have continued to send to Congress those who were weak enough to allow this to happen.
Now we're at an impasse. Do we continue to vote people into office who may not represent all that we expect, or do we draw our line in the sand. I for one feel that line should have been drawn long ago, but that didn't happen. It has to happen sometime. So now is as good a time as any, IMO. And that's why I will gladly be a small part of any action that removes all RINOs from office. I've had it. And I will do my small part to see that our deficiencies of the past are relegated to the past.

Yeah...Cedric is gone. His/her/its behavior was way over the top and by the time they bugzapped the critter, it was well past the point of justifiable! Good riddance to him/her/it! :-)

I agree and that’s why my efforts and donations this year and from now on are to real conservatives. Not the RNC, and I don’t care what state they are in, they get the donations. RNC wants to support RINO’s and closet liberals, they don’t get a single dime.
Then...you're not going to be very popular on this thread. Cause that means you'd also vote for a RINO (I presume).
Honestly, we're never going to find another Reagan (other than maybe Sarah Palin, who is the closet 'next' thing to Reagan IMO). Someone that embodies "every" aspect of conservatism that we embrace and adhere to. We may be forced to accept a few negatives in the candidate of our choice, in order to get the many positives. But hell no to another damn McCain.
I don’t know who puts the baby killer pic of Mitt on every post but I am gone at least until it is gone. I don’t know who you are trying to convince of what but this is creepier than the birther stuff.
I’m aware of the ad and I had accepted the ‘reason’ he cited on his website. However, I don’t like the fact that the leftists will take ANY comment and use it to their advantage, which they did. We don’t need conservatives that aid the enemy in “any” way. I want a leader that goes AFTER the leftists in each and every way and on every front. Not one that bends and sways to their idiotic agenda.
I was convinced already last nite, but thank you for helping to cement my newly altered opinion of Newt. Previously, I had only the word of two freepers and I needed to get more feedback from others. That was accomplished on this thread. Thanks to all.
So is there a firm ‘RINO’ threshold, or not? When does a GOPer become a RINO? When is he or she safely on the good side of that line?
My biggest fear in voting for Bush (what other choice did I have though?) was that he would wuss out and let us down just like his dad did (Read my lips = cave in to the Dems re: tax increases). I was right, as it turned out, to be afraid. His illegal immigration stance was a disaster (probably due to his Mexican family ties?) and his second term almost made it look like he had been podded (Body Snatchers). But again, what other choice did any of us have?

I've said it a hundred times (by now). I'm sick and tired of having to vote for the lesser of two evils. Not since Reagan have I joyfully voted for a candidate. I'm hoping that Sarah Palin changes all that. Hope springs eternal, eh?
