I’m in.

Just for the record: NOVEMBER 4, 2008, AKA “BLOODY TUESDAY” IS THE ABSOLUTE LAST DAY I VOTED FOR THE LEAST OF TWO BAD CHOICES. LOOK WHERE IT GOT US. CONSERVATIVES ONLY FROM NOW ON.

“The give-a-damn factor has a lot to say about the outcome of elections still. A factoid: 40% of Americans eligible to vote did not cast a vote for any presidential candidate in 2008.”

Time for better candidates to sweeten the pot?

How do we define RINO?

----------------------------------------------------------

Jim said:

No more big government! No more high taxes! No more government bailouts! No more government takeovers! No government healthcare! No more corruption! No more global baloneyism!!

Every Republican who fails America in any of these seven categories has shown themselves as a RINO. IMO, they are even lower than a scumbag Gimmecrat.

You’d have to be blind not to see this country is being overthrown by Marxist traitors—both in the Blight House and Congress. 90% of the legislative branch is full of traitors. They’ve had plenty of time to establish a police state, we’ve lost the right of public speech, some Congress have openly lied in these town hall meetings—and gone ahead and done what they’ve been paid to do. They’re going to shut down and control your communication by the internet. It’s obvious the “main stream media” is nothing more than a propaganda arm of the Marxist state.

Frankly, I don’t think we have until 2010. America is under attack.

Even Ronald Reagan didn’t make government smaller. It would be a masterful achievement to simply stop it from getting any bigger.

You have been registered here since 2004 and you have to ask? This is why this country is in such trouble. The information has been in front of you for some time.

California is a lost cause. Some say “stay and fight”. No! We save the Republic by saving the curently conservative states from liberal invasion. Socialist states like California can only be saved after economic implosion and subsequent rebuilding on conservative principles. They can’t be saved by merely voting because the government/union corruption is simply too entrenched. Let them fail, then re-build on the ashes.

Limit budget growth to inflation plus population growth and allegedly it shrinks. IIRC pugetsoundsoldier put forth this idea. Reagan couldn’t do it. It takes a Congress (actually, several along with voters who care enough to hold them to it).

After all the garbage they threw at her in the last year, what could they possibly dig up that would hurt her.

My response to the RNC telemarketers is “Unless your name is Sarah Palin, don’t waste my time.”

"Folks who stray even a little from an all-out, warrior attitude around here are gonna get so much heat from others that they'll probably elect to find some sort of RINO forum to chat on, rather than get beaten to a pulp on FR."

I'm sit'n here with a glass of wine, a tryptophan buzz, and a big grin on my face reading down through this thread.

FReepers are makin' me feel right at home. ツ

I saw at the Tea Parties a rebirth of patriotism that will not sit down ever again. People are not putting up with the status quo. We want change in the Republican Party and those who don't get with the program will be left in the dust. We will be the new Republican Party and all RINOs had better get one thing straight. Their leadership has failed us too many times. No longer will they be selling this nation down the river to the Marxists. They had their chance and they blew it.

Right on! No more lock step party votes. No RINOs will ever get my vote—I will go 3rd Party first—why because voting for RINOs is a wasted vote. Maybe its not such a bad thing—Ross Perot gave us Billy Unzipped Clinton but it also gave us a balanced budget and the flawed but good Contract with America. We need to let the GOP know we can not be dismissed or tossed a few bones like whimpering dogs.

Because once we dared dream, we drempt of freedom.
Then, as now, those dreams were for our children and our children’s children.

Because once we dared hope, we spoke of it amongst ourselves in whispers
in misty forests, candlelit cabins, trampled fields, and smokey taverns.

Because we had a deep and abiding faith that all men were created equal under heaven,
we summoned our courage and served notice on our oppressors.

Because once we understood that the yoke of Tyranny had become a weight too great to bear,
we struggled to breathe free.

Because once we knew that the tyrants refused to hear us though our voices were raised,
we united in a common purpose.

Because we united, we fought the good fight and won our freedom and our rights, but we forgot...
Freedom isn’t free.

Because we forgot, we allowed thieves to steal away what we fought and died for and now we dream of yesterday.

Because yesterday our forefathers taught us that a dream is only a dream if we do not act,
We must awaken.

Because America is our inheritance, freedom is our birthright, Americans must renew the dream, fight for it, and win.

Because we must win, we have thrown down the gauntlet to those who would hold our children hostage,
And we have joined Free Republic.
