Therein lies the problem. The fedgov has illegally usurped the Original agreement of the other two of the compact. Before, during, and after the Constitutional debates, the warnings were clear. It has come to pass.

16 Oct Yesterday, 223 House Democrats (and Ron Paul) voted down a motion to recommit H.R. 2892. In effect, they voted:
1) to bring Guantanamo al Qaeda detainees into the U.S.,

The anti war, close Gitmo & bring them to U.S., anti Sarah Palin ,Ron Paul people who post thread after thread on FR
are beyond contempt. This bunch with these views and others
out of the Michael Moore play book are not Conservatives

Our founding fathers were as wary of a truly democratis government as they were concerned of an all powerful central government. The Seventeenth Amendment and Supreme Court decisions have moved our country to the populist camp. Senators and Representatives are paralyzed by their fear of what the voters think. We now have government of, by and for the polls.

If you think being anti war, voting against condemning
Ahmadinejad, saying 9/11 was America’s blowback, wanting to close Gitmo, and the list goes on as Ron Paul’s record shows is Conservative, then you must think Obama is Great.

The give-a-damn factor has a lot to say about the outcome of elections still. A factoid: 40% of Americans eligible to vote did not cast a vote for any presidential candidate in 2008.
