Vermont is one strange place. Beautiful state run by a bunch of Marxists.

"I think the underlying thing is the fact that they are a lesbian couple doesn't mean that the court's going to treat this any differently than if they were a heterosexual couple," she said.

I don't see how the judge could have ruled differently, given the mother had defied the court and cut off all access to the other mother. Once you go down the path of gay marriage, er, uh, excuse me, "civil unions" this is where you end up.

This is one case where I would ignore the face on the milk carton.

This guy is no King Solomon! She became Christian and renounced homosexuality. Now you know why the judge ruled the way he did. This is Vermont, almost California!

Yes we know how common a birth mother is force to give up their child to a step father let alone the real father after a divorce...

An do you think it would ever ever happen if the birth mother stayed gay and the non-birth parent went straight and Christian the non-birth parent would get the child?

The birth mother of a 7-year-old Virginia girl must transfer custody of the child to the woman's former lesbian partner, a Vermont judge ruled.

You have to wonder what King Solomon would have done with THIS case!

IMO, the one that does the birthing gets to keep the child. Thought it was HER body and HER choice...or does that only work for killing children?

I wonder why the judge didn’t consider giving custody to the dad, aka “the turkey baster”...?

All I have to say to the birth mother is — you experimented with a deviant lifestyle and probably even thought you were fortunate to be living in the state of Vermont where such a lifestyle is celebrated. But when truth (nature) catches up with you, your “progressive” politicians will side with deviancy. Then what are you doing to do ?

Good for her if it were someone I knew I’d have told them to disappear too. She has legal full custody in Virgina and IMHO Vermont has no buisness butting into the matter!

He would have send the Virginia State Militia to Vermont to shutdown that courthouse and seize the Judge.

The moment you become a parent, the government takes a hostage. You may never find out the hard way, but it is true. There is nothing the government, particularly in the form of a black robe, cannot do to you, your family, and your child. There is nothing it MAY not do. Your constitutional rights are waivable when you are a parent. You have no protection, no inalienable rights. The child protective services have the power to enter your home, remove your children, remove YOU if they wish. The judges can make the removal permanent.
There but for fortune, as the saying goes. It could happen to anyone.

Given what the Law of Moses says about Homosexuality, I don’t have to wonder what Solomon would have done.
