On the air today, popular radio host Glenn Beck mocked "birthers" and claimed there is a concerted campaign to get those questioning Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility onto the airwaves – a strategy Beck said would actually benefit Obama.
"There's always games being played behind the scenes at a talk radio show," Beck said. "Rush has always called them seminar callers. But instead of being coy with the seminar callers or with you, I'm just going to expose the game that is going on. Today there is a concerted effort on all radio stations to get birthers on the air."
"I have to tell you, are you working for the Barack Obama administration?" Beck scoffed. "I mean, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard."
The ongoing dialogue then spun off into ridicule as Beck caricatured those who question the sitting president's eligibility with straw-man arguments reminiscent of jibes made by Obama's apologists in other news outlets.
Beck defined birthers as people who believe Obama was born in Kenya or other foreign country, was raised as a Manchurian candidate and somehow brainwashed Hillary Clinton into not exposing his fraud. According to Beck's running joke, birthers believe someone – maybe Obama's KGB "control" – preemptively placed Obama's birth announcement in 1961 Hawaiian newspapers with a "roadmap" of getting an African man into office.
As for Obama producing a long-form birth certificate to actually prove his place of birth, Beck questioned, "Why do that when these people ['birthers'] are so discrediting themselves?"

The radio host further argued that by distracting the public from actionable issues, "birthers" have become "a dream come true" for Obama, an ideal situation akin to the fantasies of adolescent boys after Hollywood bombshells.

Regardless of the “facts”, the whole birther thing makes us look like lunatics. Idiots. Having Orly Taitz be the public face of the conservative movement that is poised to make huge gains in upcoming elections is like a yummy dessert for the liberals.
Believe whatever you want. Just realize there’s a war being fought for hearts and minds and the stakes are huge - getting our country back on the right track. Don’t let wishful thinking or some zealous notion that ‘the usurper’ is going to be perp-walked out of the White House blur your objectivity.
Glenn gives Obama way too much credit here. The simple answer is that something is very wrong with the Hawaii record, or he wouldn't be playing this games. So, it seems like those who blithely accept the claims of his being born in Hawaii are the ones who have lost credibility. Including Glenn Beck, I am sad to say. Even if a long form shows up at this point, it is probably a forgery.

I don’t think he was born in Kenya, I think he was born in Canada. Combined with his father’s lack of citizenship and his mother not being old enough to transfer citizenship, would jeapardize his NBC status.
Canada had “free” medical care and it would also explain her friend interviewing how she came by her house (in Seattle, the Dunham’s former home) when Obama was a week or two old.
Why then doesn't Obama show his birth certificate?
Because the man listed on his BC is not the same man he wrote his book about.
Obama didn't find out who his real father was until some time after he wrote the book. And considering that book is what propelled his political career, the truth of the matter would make Obama look really bad and probably would have been enough to destroy his run for the presidency.
But now he is president because “smart” people rolled over - and played stupid?
If I am stupid then I would rather be plain stupid, than to be smart and allow a communist Muslim with a fake book to become president. A stupid person can't really be blamed. A smart person can be.
And in the end, at some point in time the truth will come out.

The Birthers should have had the good sense not to attack him as they did. The Birthers wanted a response, they got one.
That MUSLIM appears as his religion on the birth certificate? Or so I've heard. He's a Muslim at heart whether or not it's on his birth certificate.

On this one, folks, we only have so much energy and you gotta remember, Glenn has more $$$ than we have and has likely done a lot more PAID research than we have.
Do I still think the BC does not exist, yep, I do...I believe he is not constitutionally able to be president, but, we can’t get him out now.
