‘Why Islam’: Reaching Out and Preaching Hate

Since its creation, Why Islam (WI), a Muslim proselytizing project of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), has advocated a radical strain of Islam that stresses both hatred and violence. Today is no different. The group continues to verbally attack non-Muslims. And now the group is featuring a poll on its website asking if al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden is innocent. The results of the poll are very disturbing.

WI was launched in 2000 by ICNA, a Muslim Brotherhood organization, to provide dawah or Islamic outreach to American non-Muslims. The group purchases advertising via radio, public transportation, and billboards to publicize its name and entice the curious to contact its toll-free number.(snip)

Upon visiting the homepage of WI’s website, one cannot help but notice a highlighted tab labeled “Terrorism.” Clicking on the accompanying link, one is brought to a page where WI attempts to lecture readers on how Islam is against terrorism. Evidently, though, this is not the Islam that the group practices. (SNIP) In WI’s rant about how Islam is against terrorism, the group uses as examples of acts of violence “a bomb going off in a marketplace” and “the hijacking of an aircraft.” How ironic then it is to see that this same group broadcasting this information is currently running a poll on its site asking whether or not its members think Osama bin Laden, the head of an organization that consistently perpetrates such violence, is innocent.

Tell me about it ; like the incident last year in Batley,near Leeds.

There is a 700 year old parish church which has choir practice 3 times a week. About 3 years ago the Islamics bought an old house and renovated it. They also built an extension without planning permission, and when the local council intervened the Islamics complained of ‘racism’.
The council subsequently backed down and awarded retrospective permission.

Anyways, a year later the vicar in the church received a letter from the Allah-Freaks that the choir was putting them off their 5 times a day praying and could they cut down on practicing. The vicar politely refused, so the Allah-Freaks complained to the council and the Equalities Commission. Which religous group had to change its routine ?
Yes, you’ve guessed right - the church that had been there since the time of King Edward I had to stop choir practice. Additionally, after some parishoners had written protest letters to the local paper the church had it’s stained glass window smashed, graffiti sprayed on the door, and ‘Asian Youths’ in pimped up cars yelling abuse at the congregation leaving the service.

I spoke to a guy from Batley I know from going to football; he was a leftie before but this has even made him consider joining the EDL.

Hey its as bad over here mate, if not worse.

I have just won an appeal against a conviction for ‘Using Abusive and Insulting Behaviour’ while challenging an Islamic cleric online about his post advocating blowing up American servicemen and slaughtering jews. Although I have no criminal record, when I tried to book a short break in New York recently, the travel agent found that I am banned from the US indefinitely. The case cost me over 1000 quid ($1700) which I could ill afford as I lost my job in commercial real estate last year.

I hate the bastards; I am proud to say I have had several street rucks with them, I reckon the Serbs got about right with Srebenica, England must be an England without Muslims, everywhere in the world they cause ructions. Hindus, Sikhs, Jews, all welcome here, Indian and Caribbean lads were friends of mine at college and a lot of them are in the forces - they can contribute, so what the **** is wrong with the Islamics.

One has to wonder why a group claiming to promote inclusiveness and peace would allow statements such as these or a poll questioning Osama bin Laden’s guilt to remain on its website. But then one would have to wonder why they were placed there to begin with.

The Why Islam religious outreach program is not outreach based on any set of virtues. In truth, WI is nothing more than a vehicle to spread radical Islam, dubiously masquerading as a public service. It is part of a dangerous global movement that has zero respect for others who do not hold the same beliefs.

And they must feel emboldened now that they see a weak leader in the war against terrorism with Obama in the WH.

Those who struggle to preserve their freedom and way of life are honored whether they win or lose. History respects Winston Churchill more then then Neville Chamberlain. There are statues in honor of Queen Boudica in Britain and Crazy Horse in America. There is only so much abuse that can be swallowed by people before the rightness of a cause becomes apparent.

That is a good article. I don't know how I could dislike a group more than I dislike muzzies. They are 180 degrees from what I think.

I think it is interesting that somewhere some American Muslims were protesting the American hating ones.

Im not sure Publius, as I live about 60-odd miles away (Lincolnshire - on the North Sea Coast) but Batley is on the doorstep of the Leeds/Bradford/Huddersfield urban sprawl.

The problem has arisen because of the sizable Paki/Bangladeshi pop. of the last two (Leeds has mainly Sikhs and Hindus) who as I have said before are sound. Local Police Chiefs, CPS heads (like your DAs) and council officials all bend over backwards to appease these paedophilic, bomb making, goat poking cult members at the expense of everyone else. The Universities are even worse ; student bodies are trying to block Israeli students from enrolling, as well as instigating boycotts of American goods*.

I could go on but some of the things that are being done to the ordinary patriotic Englishman, well, you may think I am winding you up.

*Both the unwashed lefty students and the sexually repressed fuzziwuzzi Mohammedites mostly wear shirts and caps bearing various NFL or NBA crests ie LA Lakers, Atlanta Falcons etc
