You are right. Judging by the comments here, he’s coming off as crazy and divorced from reality. The speech might please some of his kooks, but I can’t imagine the rest of the country buying it. The comments I saw on abc news from people in anticipation of the speech was NOT positive. And this is before he even opened his mouth.

He will try to throw money into the economy to create lots of temporary jobs just in time for his election. He has lots of pretend money just waiting for him to do this. A trillion in tarp pay backs, stimulus money not yet spent and money from new a new stimulus package are just waiting for him to use to try to get reelected. All this money of course doesn't exist but is to be borrowed. Tarp money is borrowed money that is being paid for but they want to get their hands on that pretend money too.

Yep, say what you think they want to hear Obama. Common sense! Obama is the very last person that has the right to say "let's use common sense" as he is common sense bankrupted! Keep making promisses Obama, we will hold you to them and you will wish you didn't make them.
