Now that she just revealed to all listening to Glenn Beck that she believe it’s possible the Feds had a hand in the 9-11 attacks, any change to your views? Specifically, when asked if she believe the Feds had played a part, she said she did not have enough information to fully make a decision and that good arguments from the 9-11 Truthers had been presented (i.e. she believes it is possible based on the evidence).
Nah ... there's already much better ones for McQueeq:
Don’t follow Texas politics...but sounds like to me that Beck was in bed with this Perry guy originally and hammered this woman on 9/11 and whether any her staffers were “truthers”. I think this “truther” stuff is a non-issue. Might as well focus your attention on the lockness monster. Some people think there should be a re-investigation of JFK being murdered too. So what? They’re free to believe in Santa Claus if they want—or should be.
And then Beck made a point about Van Jones. I’m sorry, but his rage about Van Jones was he was a publicly admitted Marxists—not initially that he was a “truther”.
Maybe you should be consistent, Beck, as you just advised on your station.
Like I said, I don’t keep up with Texas politics, but I never got a chance to hear what she stands for thanks to Beck’s nonsense.
I watch Beck just about everyday...but I’m starting to wonder about him—especially given his love for value added taxes. But he’s entitled to his opinion.
I somewhat agree with his point if you believed “truther” stuff about that should be your prority—actually, you would have a moral obligation to take up arms against such an evil act, but cripes, Beck, get over it. If there was anything to it, it would have happened already.
I just thought he and his little helper was pretty snotty to her and I still have no clue as to what the big deal in Texas is...
It was a deal killer.
People tried to paint Ron Paul into this corner and he always dealt with it the right way. She didn't, and she just lost a vote.
Maybe because she’s not a polished, scurry around in circles trained politician?
I was thinking people wanted “us” in office, not career politicians.
I agree.
I just spent an entire thread defending her. How do you think I feel?
I don't tolerate "controlled demolition" BS. Any level headed person will laugh it into obscurity, not give it even a modicum of credence.
I assumed she shared Ron Paul's answer to the "inside job" garbage, to which he replied "absolutely not". I was wrong.
I see your point. I think it’s rational.
To be honest, I can’t remember if she discounted “truthers” or not. All I remember is Beck and his helper sounding like anxious chimps at a zoo hopping up and down screaming over some mouse running across the floor. All I got, basically, is she’s against property tax and into the 2nd amendment. That’s about all I got out of the experience and Beck’s response was distracting. I really got the impression, he was doing this for Perry since he was discussing him at length prior to the Medina “interview”.
I’m pretty disappointed with the interview. Beck seems to be more polished on his TV program than radio—so maybe that has something to do with it. I seem to recall Beck said “truthers” should be put in jail or shot or something like that. Saying things like this worries me about him and what he’s about. I hate hippies—but their entitled to their opinions.
I guess it’s not material—I can’t vote in Texas anyway! haha...I just was interested to see if this was an indication of the “national mood” and what the big deal about her in Texas was.
Thanks for the exchange. Good luck to you!
You don't think it would be better if she ran for councilwoman or the Texas state House or the Texas state Senate or Mayor before assuming she can be Governor?
Like Al Sharpton, she can saying anything in debates, she's got nothing to lose.
I hate it when you wake up the Libertarians.
No, I don’t think it makes a bit of difference.
Managing a 3 person medical billing company = more executive experience than being a phony legislature or mayor.
LOL.. They all say ANYTHING in debates! Do you really think Perry and The Hutch are on the up and up?
haha. these days ... just minding my own business, reading threads of interest ... you can’t help but be assaulted by the postings of clearly rondementalist libertarians posing to be “TRUE CONSERVATIVES” bashing everything in sight ... except some <5% crank (or painfully obvious unelectable) candidate. or, hey, let’s start a third party!!! (i.e. falcon poop (snicker))
Like I said earlier, I just assumed she shared Ron Paul's stance on the "inside job" garbage, but I was wrong.
If its nine years later and you still don't "have enough evidence" to make a decision as to whether Osama bin Laden plotted to attack the WTC, then I can't do anything for you.
Fair Enough
My ? is do you think this is a lie when Debra says this
“I was asked a question on the Glenn Beck show today regarding my thoughts on the so-called 9/11 truth movement. I have never been involved with the 9-11 truth movement, and there is no doubt in my mind that Muslim terrorists flew planes into those buildings on 9/11. I have not seen any evidence nor have I ever believed that our government was involved or directed those individuals in any way.”
She said was unaware of anyone like Van Jones in her campaign
Beck did not provide any evidence there where Van Jones types in her campaign that I could see
All she said to Beck was , I believe people have the right to ask ?
Did she handle that 100% perfect , No
She did respond later as quoted above with her own personal view
I find it interesting after Debra pointed out the decline in private sector jobs & growth in gubaMint jobs in Texas
http://www.glennbeck.com/content/articles/article/196/36197/
Glenn Beck moved into the 9/11 Van Jones stuff
Who on this forum has been trying to link Debra to the 9/11 stuff ?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm
Lots of people. Almost every anti-Medina person mockingly asked me if I believed Bush blew up the towers.
She has to know that that's going to be a question on people's minds.
She was on the Alex Jones show last Sunday. How can you go on Alex Jones and not know what he's all about? I don't begrudge her for going on the AJ Show, but she can't sit there and tell me that she's never been asked about it. I don't believe her, so maybe I am accusing her of lying.
What evidence do you have that AJ asked Debra about 9/11 ?
“Lots of people. Almost every anti-Medina person mockingly asked me if I believed Bush blew up the towers. “
Again I ask , do you find it interesting or a coincidence
as soon as Debra brought up private sector jobs declining , gubaMint jobs rising.......................
Glenn Beck shifts immediately to 9/11
Is Beck parroting the anti Medina mocking types on here ?
Did she handle that well , No imo
The she make her position clear , Yes
I was waiting to see who was going to start the 9/11 stuff in the media
IMO, it was test piloted here & in other forums
These forums can be very educational
& tell you what to expect in the media/politico strategy
It’s up to every one to really see what’s going on
This should read
Did she make her position clear, Yes
Glenn Beck shifts immediately to 9/11
I think it was intentional but not nefarious.
He knew that some people would want him to ask the question, and he probably wanted to get it out of the way early so they could move on to other things. I have no doubt that he expected her to disavow trutherism and be done with it. I think he was flabbergasted when she stepped right into it.
It's really inexcusable on her part since Ron Paul has been asked the same thing and always shot down people who accused him of being a truther.
If she had responded like this:
http://seoblackhat.com/2007/07/27/ron-paul-not-truther-interview/
...we wouldn't be having this discussion, and I would be voting for her.
As of now I'm not.
Fair enough
I do not expect every one to answer every ? 100% right every time
She clarified her position
I have no problem with it
