He didn't ask her about at all; I listened to the whole interview. I didn't claim he did.
Alex Jones is nuts, but he's not stupid. Even he knows that asking her about whether 9/11 was government sponsored would hurt her chances. He kept his conspiracy questions limited to the New World Order and foreign control of our currency.
However, anyone who goes on Alex Jones show should know that "inside job" and "controlled demolition" have been part of his schtick for years.
If you go on Alex Jones show and he gives you a favorable interview, you'd better damned well be ready for people to ask you if you agree with his 9/11 conspiracy theories.
He's the godfather of Trutherism for crying out loud. It's almost inconceivable that she could be that stupid.
And contrary to what Debra said, I think it IS relevant to Texas politics since one of the predicates of Trutherism is that a recent Texas governor planned the attacks shortly after he was elected to the Presidency.
“I think it was intentional but not nefarious. “

Glenn sez he does not endorse any one
“I’ll tell you what I think about individuals but I don’t endorse them.”
Glenn Beck knows Perry well it seems ?
“For instance, in Texas Rick Perry who’s always been kind to me, always been nice, I think I’ve been the same to him, I think I’ve been fair, he’s been fair with me. The things that I have witnessed firsthand on Rick Perry I like.”
So is Glenn picking candidates ?
“So I guess for me it would be between Debra and Rick.”
Or advocating who not to vote for ?
“I know Kay Bailey Hutchison, forget about it. That’s just, I’m sure she’s a very nice lady. I’ve had her on the show before. I just, I’m not impressed with her at all. And again I don’t mean anything about her personally, I just don’t think she’s the answer for Texas”
Is Glenn Beck lying or shading the truth when he says he does not endorse candidates ?
“GLENN: While I don’t endorse anyone “
“GLENN: I think I can write her off the list. Let me take another look at Kay Bailey Hutchison if I have to. Rick, I think you and I could French kiss right now.”
Seems to me he is picking & choosing candidates
But Glenn said twice he does not endorse
Strange thing to say if your not picking candidates
“Rick, I think you and I could French kiss right now.”
Does this pass the smell test ?
Beck did not hammer Medina...Medina was informed ahead of the program the 9/11 Truther issue would be asked about. This was not a blindsided question. She had more opportunity to prepare than most who are asked hard questions...the fact that she would not answer directly tells us alot...indirectly she sure convinced many she is a birther by the very “dance steps “ she used to get out of it.

If Rick Perry signs a letter with a Democrat Gov. urging congress to act/vote on the Bailout ?
Does Rick agree with the Democrat Gov. on his way of thinking on the bailout ?
http://trailblazersblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2010/01/was-rick-perry-for-the-bailout.html
“Indeed, Perry joined his Democratic counterpart Gov. Joe Manchin of West Virginia (Perry was president of the Republican Governors Association, Manchin was president of the Democratic group) in coauthoring a letter saying it was time to set aside partisanship and vote to save the economy from a depression. A few hours later, the Senate acted on the plan before it. Here’s a portion of the letter:”
Then says the bailouts are bad policy but good politics
http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/latestnews/stories/020909dntexgovbailout.410765d.html
“AUSTIN For Gov. Rick Perry, federal bailouts make bad policy but good politics.”
was that a lie ?
Shading the truth ?
Rick did not state anything about what to do just that congress should act
about a year later Perry’s spokesman says this
“Perry spokesman Mark Miner said there’s no inconsistency. He said Perry wanted Congress to act in some way but disapproved of the bill enacted. He said the governor preferred tax cuts and growth initiatives pushed by House Republican leader John Boehner of Ohio.”
He had every opportunity to state his position in the letter a year ago
He did not do it
Then his spokesman gives a parsed answer a year later
You believe Perry ?
He has all the experience ya-know
if congress does not act on the bailout there is no bailout right ?
He had every opportunity to state his position in the letter a year ago
Should read
He had every opportunity to state this position in the letter a year ago
“Beck did not hammer Medina...Medina was informed ahead of the program the 9/11 Truther issue would be asked about. This was not a blindsided question. I never accused Beck of hammering her or blindsiding her. I said his method was distracting and I was disappointed with the interview because I couldn’t tell what the hub-bub in Texas was about. Prior to the interview (he talked about Perry at length—I have no idea if this is good or bad—don’t really know anything about Perry. Seemed to imply Perry was ok.)
Beck was going on and on about Van Jones being a truther and thus it qualified for his termination. But Beck, on his TV programs pointed was that Jones was an admitted Marxist and that was his platform for a few weeks of complaining about Jones. Later it came out he was a “truther”. I can tolerate people believing in Big Foot, UFOs, trolls, being “truthers”—they’re free to believe in this stuff—but an active member of a philosophy that has an enemy position against this country is unacceptable. I just thought Beck’s position and using this over and over (Jones being a truther) was disingenuous (claiming/implying that Jones was fired for being a “truther”).
Being in Kentucky, Ron Paul’s son, Rand Paul—is running for Senate. And seems to be making strives (if not leads) in the polls. Not once has 9/11 truthers been mentioned. It’s not an issue here—nor is it relevant.
Debra is right on the issues, but I can't vote for someone who can't make a judgement on 9-11 conspiracies nearly 10 years after the fact.
ROFL! Wow...whatta response. I mailed in my ballot for Debra Medina after watching Perry and Hutchinson’s debate...I just couldn’t stand the bragadocious dodging and non-answers and punting back and forth, it made me want to vomit.
Medina at least spoke truth to power even if she is an unknown. And I cast my vote just to be true to myself and my convictions because she spoke to them. I’m STILL not sure about that vote, and I’m a little suspicious of her tax rhetoric. That also could just be a sucker punch.
I’ll be happy if Perry OR Medina win it. We’ve been prosperous under Perry (so far).
ANYTHING but letting Kay Bailey Hutchison in the Texas Mansion...PLEASE GOD don’t put that socialist in power down in Austin!!! If that happens, then the commiecraps won!
