Barack Obama is still struggling to kick smoking, according to his first medical examination since becoming president.
Obama is sensitive about his cigarette habit and tetchy with reporters who raise it. But after his 90-minute medical at the Navy hospital outside Washington yesterday morning, his doctors confirmed he had not yet managed to conquer the habit and suggested he "continue smoking cessation efforts".
The doctors also recommended "moderation of alcohol intake".

Not that- the part about requiring “little “medication. Why didnt they just list the meds he takes for jet lag and malaria?

Is the President a drunk...?It's interesting that the doctors mentioned "alcohol." Typically blood work shows liver enzymes out of whack indicating too much booze.
This miight account for some of the dopey moves he's made.
Then again... he's a Marxist.

Of the generally available brands, I prefer Dos Equus. Be very, very careful. Two Horses can pack a really nasty kick!

Is the President a drunk...? Just keep him incapacitated long enough and we'll be okay.
How about a wake-up martini, Mr. President?

Local news (Nashville) just reported on Obumbler’s checkout and did not mention the drinking.

The American people remain as Reagan used to say “cautiously optimistic”.

This picture thrills the American people who would like to have a drink with “their president.”

I thought about that as he told his healthcare tale of woe re: rushing his daughter to the ER for asthma (yet confused an inhaler for a breathalyzer).
But i’ll see you and raise you one better:

Note: At the time, there was nothing funny about it... period.
Conspiracy Corner Alert:
The question is, what came up that the doctor would suggest this? Would he be taking an MAOI inhibitor or SSRI for his NPD or BPD? I can’t see the O speaking up on a ‘40 a day’ habit. Maybe blood work told the tale.
As far as the smoking, I thought he only had them once a while, why nicotine replacement and not cold turkey?
I hope they didn’t give him Chantix or Wellbutrin instead of the patch, or you’ll really get a show soon... one way or another.
