Great, we should not let them back in. See how they like living in a another country for a while. Idiots, they take this country for granted and don't really care about the sacrifices that others have made for their freedoms. Maybe if they lived in a third world country for a while under the tyranny of others they would appreciate what a great country they live in.

After posting this on another thread, one Freeper wrote the AZ Gov. to thank her for her efforts and included it - good for him to let her know we support the effort!

Illegals? who would have thunk at UA. They will still be illegals in other states and if the Republicans take the House in November, more laws could be passed to deal with them no matter where they are.
I don’t feel that children should be punished for the sins of their parents, so we have a problem as do the parents. There is no simple answer but amnesty is not it. Perhaps a longer “Permanent Residence” program could be developed that stops short of citizenship/voting, etc.
Getting at the back of the line, NOW, would be a good start.

Re San Francisco. I’m going to be mean here:
Arizona had a Flaming Meteor create Meteor Crater (a magnificent sight/site).
San Franscisco has Flaming Fs and all they created were more Flaming Aholes.
Mayor Newsome is among the most disgusting excuse of a political charlatan this side of Rev. Jesse and Sharpton.
SF deserves him.
It once was a great city. Today it is a national joke and medical cesspool. Perhaps another meteor will make it into the San Francisco Crater. I’d go to see that.
Good people of SF. Get out and let it disappear like the house in “Poltergeist”.

"The families of a number of out-of-state students (to date all of them honors students) have told us"
Typical b.s. propaganda. The most this could mean at this point is that the UofA *may* have received a few letters and calls of that nature (who cares). Chances are we are talking about (1) very few (but who cares), (2) probably the U. bureaucrats don't even verify that the letter writer HAS a son or daughter "Honors" student at U of A, and (3) whether there's even a few grains of truth or not to the President's statement, it's no BFD.

I doubt it. I think it’s BS.
At any rate, if it’s true, it’s a win-win!!! If these students actually leave, it’d be great if they’d take McCain with them. THEN AZ would be a great state!

I have total confidence that they will abide by the letter of the law, which includes a provision that individuals may not be stopped solely on the basis of race, color or national origin." So, at least this guy realizes that he cannot keep reciting the version that has never become a law, and that enforcing the law is not the same as the racial profiling.

Help me try to see the down side here.
No illegals in the college
1. No free tuition means money saved
2. No hispanic illegals getting indoctrinated by the radicals on the campus
Looks like a winner to me.

Grijalva’s knee-jerk call for a boycott of his of his own state and the UA President’s press release that a handful of Latino students (in a total enrollment of 38,000) taking their academics elsewhere only confirms the stereotype of the hot-tempered Latin that overreacts and takes everything personally. I’m embarrassed by them. (My other last name is Spanish)
To: pepsionice
Of course, I agree with all you say. I’m just wondering how President Shelton could make such a big deal about a handful of students leaving in a huff?
To: onyx
The UA’s undergrad requirements are laughable but the graduate spots are some of the most competitive out there.
To: lulu16
He said the decision of students to withdraw "should sadden anyone who cares about attracting the best and brightest students to Arizona."
Why should it sadden anyone? They can't be that smart if they are leaving, unless they are in this country illegally.

"The families of a number of out-of-state students (to date all of them honors students) have told us that they are changing their plans and will be sending their children to universities in other states."Good. The more trash Arizona gets rid of, the better it is for Arizona in the long run. Imagine how great a state full of conservative could become. No more scrounging, no homos or welfare queens. No loud mouthed liberal brains of mush. Arizona could become the new capital of the United States.
The media tries to portray this as a bad thing. In my opinion, it's a cleansing.

In my opinion, it's a cleansing. How great it'd be if 49 other states did exactly the same thing.

The number of out of state withdrawls is 1. I know someone who works there.
The parent wrote a letter that says it’s not the only reason. They were already considering it because the child has some health issues that staying nearer to home is a good idea so he can be with his doctors.
