Is NAACP blind to Farrakhan & Co.? The Nation of Islam is built on racism and lies

I do not think that the NAACP was out of order in asking the Tea Party movement to separate itself from the racists in its midst, but the famous civil rights organization ought to start by following the same suggestion.

During the great March On Washington in August of 1963, the Nation of Islam was not invited. Its members were not bothered because Malcolm X was to become a bit more famous by ridiculing the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and the whole affair as a meaningless piece of theater held in check by the almighty white man.

But by the end of the decade, the civil rights movement had fallen to pieces shortly after King's assassination in 1968. Black Power emerged and whites were discouraged from joining or attempting to join anything supposedly free of white control.

This was intellectual pollution. It is now known as "identity politics." A toxic form of pretension, it had certain memorable ingredients. They were all conveniently superficial. Big hair styles, name changes, African clothing, combat boots, reading the combative works of Frantz Fanon and just about anyone from anywhere in the world ready to call white people dirty names and blame capitalist Western culture for the troubles of the planet.

"Unity" became the loud call and was thought capable of putting color prejudice in its place. All black people needed to do was cease going in a number of separate directions. It was no longer time to come to Jesus; it was time to come together! Color was the ultimate reality, they said; the white man could maintain power only if black people kept spinning their wheels on separate paths.

That was the point at which previously unacceptable racist cults like the Nation of Islam became acceptable.

Unity generates power to change reality

Mao Tse Tung, throughout his long march to conquer China, had a billion people whose lives he had to transform. Many of them were victims of opium, drugs and prostitution, like we are. But Mao Tse Tung went to the cultural community and they accepted his idea. Then, through song, dance, poetry, drama, documentaries, movies and books, the idea of Mao Tse Tung became the idea of a billion people. China became a world power on the base of culture and the artistic community. If we had a Ministry of Art and Culture in every city, [we'd] create this movement [in the U.S.], we could say to our young people, “What is the idea of the Time and are you reflecting that idea in your songs, dance and music?

We need a Ministry of Trade and Commerce. Do you think that a Millions More Movement should not be involved in the development of Africa, the Caribbean and Central America? ... we need a Ministry of Trade and Commerce that can link the struggle here with Africa and the Caribbean, Central and South America.

He certainly transformed them. He slaughtered a reported 60 million Chinese , starving some and shooting others. He was a homicidal monster. I have no doubt that Farrakhan would emulate the crimes of Mao if he had the power.

Farrakhan was known as “Calypso Louie” and “The Charmer” His real name is Walcott. He instigated the assassination of Malcolm X after Malcolm returned from Mecca and reported that he had worshiped beside blond haired, blue eyed Muslims. Malcolm denounced the racist garbage of Elijah Muhammad and exposed Muhammad’s fathering of several Muslim women who worked in his Chicago mansion.

Louis Farrakhan had always been jealous of Malcolm X and for months published calls for Malcolm’s death in the weekly Black Muslim newspaper, Muhammad Speaks. Malcolm was shot to death by a group of Black Muslims from New Jersey as he spoke to followers at the Audubon Ballroom in New York City.

For years Farrakhan denied his responsibility for the murder of Malcolm X, then finally conceded that he may have unintentionally played a role in the murder. Now this creep has his Fruit of Islam security force, composed of criminal goons recruited in prisons just as Malcolm was. I have no doubt that that he would emulate Mao if he had more than the small number of sociopaths he has in his organization.
