Augustus Caesar. He took all power away from the Roman Senate and ruled as a god. Glenn made the comparison to 0bama after demonstrating that he had usurped the Senate’s power.

I’m a little past that point. So far, the whole thing is very reminiscent of a Glenn Beck episode.

I finished the book last week. Overall, I liked it. According to Beck, the book itself is an exercise is using the Overton Window to influence the public.

I have a dear friend with Maculuar Degeneration, she is older, but it is very sad as she loved to read, do crossword puzzles, etc... one side thing is light really bothers her so she pretty much keeps her house dark to cope with the issues light causes for her... in addition to reading, etc., she loved to garden.. hard to do now with our bright light here in Arizona.

My great grandmother had cataracts but the advances they’ve made in correcting that are amazing even since the mid 90s when she passed away.

Any kind of macular degeneration is irreversible. Let’s pray that he pulls this one out.

True. Cataracts is a physical cloudieness developing over the cornea. My dad got new corneas a couple of years ago and says he sees better than he has in 30 years.

Not necessarily true.

My brother suffered from a similar eye problem about 5 years ago.
His girlfriend did allot of research, starting with www.macular-dystrophy.com, and had my brother start taking It improved his eyes and after 4 years the problem went disappeared.
My brother complained of his eyes watering allot while he was on it, but he's happy that his eyesight improved, and recommends Lutein to anyone who's having vision problems.

Check out Lutein and Age related Macular Degeneration (AMD).
Also read Link Between Iron Overload And Macular Degeneration Under Study

And pray for Glenn Beck and his family.

I am a big believer in Lutein and zeaxanthin. And resveratrol.

I am also becoming quite interested in South American fruits and nuts. We don’t get a lot of them in the US. Some Japanese guy is trying to corner the market on at least one. The food nomad, Andrew Zimmer, speaks about some S. American tribal people who don’t suffer from degenrative diseases like those of us in the West. We all know the rainforests and undersea life forms have any number of active ingredients that are simply not used in Western food. Instead, we here just get lots of food.

It’s Macular Degeneration, not Macular Distrophy. Muscular Dystrophy is a completely different disease having nothing to do with one’s eyesight.

No, it’s not. Glenn was diagnosed with macular distrophy. Look it up. I know what muscular distrophy is. I’m not a freaking moron.

Who called you a moron? The first story out on this was Macular Degeneration, which I have. I’ve never heard of Macular Dystrophy. I will, as you suggest, look it up.
