Wow! What a set of pipes that gal has. Her rendition of "America the Beautiful" was memorable. The musicians and singers at this rally were truly talented and rousing....a blessing from the Lord, indeed.

What an amazing event! How anyone could watch without getting a little misty eyed is beyond me!

I'm not given to weeping easily, but I can't hear "Amazing Grace" on the bagpipes without having to wipe away a few tears. Especially when done in a setting like that.

The combination of reverence and defiance was beautiful to behold.

Last year the Blue Line of the Metro had a stoppage causing FR’s events on 9/11 to be delayed. We ended up starting about an hour later than planned because so many people were stuck.

They didn’t run a weekday schedule last year either and they do that all the time for special events.

That had to be one of the most amazing things I have ever seen and heard. What an event. Beyond belief. Doesn’t matter if tens of millions were there or just one. Just as long as someone, anyone saw and heard it and took it to heart. The message is out. Time for restoration!

You'd think liberals would be proud too--so many faces of color in the crowd and on the stage, celebrating God and America and Martin Luther King, Jr., but no, they are still spouting hate while complaining that Beck spouts hate...heh?? And notice how her accomplishments are never talked about by Sharpton and that crowd. They hardly acknowledge she exists and for good reason - not only does she work to save the lives of millions of babies she tells the race hustlers where to shove it, how deep and with what implement.

This is a really great day for America. It was a call to action to once again trust God for our salvation and deliverance for our nation. I salute Glenn Beck for taking the time and money to do this. America needed this right now and it is up to us to continue what has been started today in seeking God and restoring honor to all of us and this great nation. Without God and our Lord Jesus Christ it can not be done.

So I gladly kneel before God and ask his forgiveness and for him to bless our nation once again and turn the tide of evil and darkness that would over take us and help us to once again be salt and light unto the world. In Jesus’ Holy Name Amen.

Now Rush might mention the event, if he has to...but he won’t mention Beck’s name. He NEVER mentions Beck’s name.

He will mention Levin’s name from time to time and he invited Levin to his wedding.

He seldom mentions Hannity...in the case of Beck and Hannity he does acknowledge when a caller mentions their names.

Don’t misunderstand...Rush is nothing if not classy about it but he doesn’t go giving his competition free publicity and why should he?

Levin and Hannity are downright nasty about Beck sometimes....gotta read between the lines. Hnnity will sometimes call in to Levin and they’ll talk about Beck in symbolspeech. Levin calls Beck the midafternoon back bencher or some such.

You gotta develop an ear for it. I am a bit of a talk radio junkee.

And hey, I like Levin...really. But he can be a nasty jealous twit at times.

Hannity is, by me, an airhead who only got big on talk radio because he was one of the first on the scene. I can’t listen to his show more than an hour at a time, at most.

But that’s just me.

Rush will always be the best and he doesn’t need to lean on anyone for a bit of cast off sunshine.

just watched the entire Rally on c-span and they did a pretty good job...I'm not a fan of c-span..but will give them their due today.
