"Doc Drop: Miller Camp Cites Possible Vote Tampering By Murkowski Observer"
Riehlworld ^ | 08/29/2010

Rut Roh - a troubling three page letter from the Miller campaign citing multiple potential infractions of election law and procedure by a Murkowski observer, who, after mis-identifying himself, was allowed unfettered access to a computer he should not have accessed. The access presented a clear opportunity for vote tampering.

The other problems include trying to access the ballot area with a large bag, an action prohibited by law. Fortunately, security stopped him. Read it all in pdf below.

“Who is the Murkowski observer that got access. What’s his/her background?

Names and background needed!”

Don’t know yet. But Miller’s campaign knows. They kept his last name out of hte letter to protect his privacy.

Miller=class act

“I have to say, I’m not at all confident Miller has this in the bag. Murkowski only needs to win about 55% of the absentee ballots to win. What reason is there to believe that she doesn’t get 55%?”

You want a reason. Here is a good reason. Most of the absentees very likely come from 4 militar, a very good reasony bases where Miller got 75% of the vote on election day.

“This actually doesn’t bother me at all. In fact, if she is gonna run as an LP, it means she knows she has lost the GOP nomination. Believe me, Miller will have an easy time with her in a general election once he is the GOP nominee.”

Let’s not be too confident - Ras has the RAT with 30 to 40% of the vote - they haven’t had a three way poll (of course.)

Must be pretty old...tried a slipstreamed cd?

We had an old PC that shipped with XP Home in Nov 02 or so, ran like crap with it...we tossed ME on for most of that time, ran like a dream, then about 6 months with Win2k, before XP Pro SP3 from a slipstreamed cd. Not only does XP run much better now than it used to, I’d say it runs pretty comparably with Win2k on that hardware.

I’ve heard that there seem to be less issues installing it like that than patching it from the base version.

Well, the good thing is that the computer ballots should have already been tallied and should NEVER change if new data or a stealth program in not entered. Therefore if the numbers change for any unexpected reason, foul play should immediately be expected. Therefore it is unlikely this person is stupid enough to try to alter the data after the count.

Much more likely is that they would try the old Rat tricks of “finding” ballots and trying to disqualify the opponents ballots.

The Murkowski observer was named in a post on redstate.com this morning. Joe Miller’s letter was linked and I read it. The guy’s first name was Mike. The post was withdrawn this afternoon. That is the only place I’ve seen the name. Unless it reappears you may not find it. The guy works for the NRSC in Washington, not sure if he was hired [also] by Murkowski. I’m wondering why that post was withdrawn.

We need to elect Conservatives.

We need to take over the local caucuses and precincts so we CAN elect Conservatives. Waiting for the elections is futile. It never works and the RINOs and Democrats know how to play that fiddle.

The NRSC getting a clue yet? They need to distance themselves from this mess.

Just in on email from the Dallas Tea Party tonight:

"Texas Senator John Cornyn has become well-known for openly supporting establishment candidates along the lines of Arlen Specter and Charlie Crist against conservative challengers along the lines of Pat Toomey and Marco Rubio.

Recently, we learned that the National Republican Senatorial Committee, headed by Cornyn, had dispatched legal resources to help Republican incumbent Lisa Murkowski in her primary race against Republican challenger Joe Miller.

In response to a brewing political firestorm and mounting public criticism, the NRSC has now recalled those legal resources.

This is a positive development, but it begs the question: what were those NRSC resources doing in Alaska in the first place?

We'll be rallying outside John Cornyn's Dallas office on Thursday to let Cornyn know, in no uncertain terms, that we'll be watching him and his NRSC very closely this season--and we won't accept any more MEDDLING in the primaries."

I believe that they should be executed. Voting is our most sacred right in this country.

I really believe this. Tamper with the vote of a citizen, and if you are caught, you die.

Most folks in conservatism do not realize that the local caucuses are where the real ‘getting rid of rinos and posting true conservatives’ happens. The power of whom gets on the ballot is a direct function of whom controls the caucuses.

To be blunt, very close to too little, too late re the NRSC and Cornyn.

Strike that, DEFINITELY too little, too late, re the NRSC. If Cornyn REALLY toes the line, he MAY not lose too many of us. MAYBE. (He’a pretty decent on my hot button issue, the 2nd Amendment http://aboutpolitics.com/politicians/Texas-TX/Cornyn/Gun%20Issues but I wouldn’t trust him as far as I could throw a 10 lb weight.)
