All of the polls show very strong support among black voters for Obama, the number have changed only a few % points since the election. He has not lost 25-30 % of his base.

In other words, you don't buy the findings in this article, which says that Obama has lost a third of his support among blacks.

Ok.

I so hope that the Black People understand that slavery is bending to lies, such as obamanation’s simply because he is black. That is just stupid “master kowtowing”. They are far more educated and smarter than that!

Hmmm.. “come back to the southern plantation and get a free biscuit”

Meanwhile Planned parenthood is an anex extention for the extermination camp program of the government.

They came for the black people’s babies and I said nothing,
The Free people are next, and that was what the noose was for.

They are realizing that the country that offers them the best opportunities is being hand-delivered to a group that is not particularly friendly to black people; they’re battling them for jobs, political power, etc. and losing.

They see what the Dems have given them: economic dependence, abortion, and the soft bigotry of lowered expectations. The most entitled blacks (like all entitled groups) can see that their goodies are being given to our southern neighbors (who aren’t particularly fond of blacks).

I think the impact of abortion is more visible to blacks now (when they didn’t go with the flow, BJ Clinton passed his welfare reform to prod them along). Blacks are losing to Hispanics in urban areas, the workplace, and even in prison. They can see they no longer have the political muscle (numbers) to avoid the ongoing betrayal of American blacks (as well as all Americans) by the Dems.

Nominate Herman Cain as the GOP Pres candidate. Then see how the vote breaks down. The more I listen to Mr. Cain, the more I like him. He speaks with so much common sense and clarity that I’m beginning to worry for his safety. He’d be wise to watch his six for the likes of the establishment types with the long knives.

Planned Parenthood was a vehicle to eliminate “inferior” races; their founder openly advocated that, and Justice Ginsburg was kind enough to confirm that the goals have not changed over the years. Even Jesse Jackson, before being bought & paid for, referred to abortion as genocide against blacks.

This is one of the things the GOP can never, ever seem to capitalize on. Many blacks, and Latins for that matter, are SOCIAL conservative. They are not fiscal conservatives for various reasons, and appeals to them are usually made on self interested fiscal grounds.

Exactly!

I'm going to get pounded for this, but social conservatism needs to break free of fiscal conservatism. I'm not saying fiscal conservatism is bad (though I'm definitely much more a social than a fiscal conservative myself), but nowadays everyone has come to accept that social conservatism cannot be had without taking fiscal conservatism along with it. In the old days, even fiscal liberals were social conservatives. I would gladly return to those days.

Unfortunately, Blacks and Hispanics have sold out to social liberals. They have not utilized their tremendous influence to bring liberalism and the Democrat party to moral sanity. In fact, almost all mainstream Black and Hispanic politicians march in lockstep with the moral nihilists.

I for one am sick and tired of hearing the excuse that poor people cannot afford to vote for social conservatives because of they need government assistance. This is a false dichotomy. All decent people, whether fiscal liberals or fiscal conservatives, should be social/moral conservatives.

Sure but they can't say it in public—heck they are still required to say that OJ was innocent and Obama is a good president.

The Left did not invent slavery but they sure perfected slavery of the mind..

Not a surprise, once Blacks understand the TPM, it is a place they belong. NOT on the Dummie Plantation.

I am a huge fan of Herman Cain, and supported him 100% when he ran for the Senate from GA in 2004 (and was heartbroken when he finished second in the GOP primary but failed to hold Country Club Republican Johnny Isakson under 50%—Cain could have won the lower-turnout runoff), but it is very, very difficult to win the presidency without having held prior elective office. It’s not that Mr. Cain isn’t qualified or experienced, it’s that voters expect a certain type of résumé from presidential candidates. Since Eisenhower in 1952 (unless I’m forgetting someone) the closest that candidates with no prior experience in elective office has come to winning the presidency were Jesse Jackson winning a few state primaries in 1988 (but not coming close to beating Dukakis for the Democrat nomination), Ross Perot getting only 19% of the vote (and not coming close to carrying any states) in the general election, and Pat Buchanan winning the LA caucuses and the NH primary in 1996 but not coming close to wrestling the GOP nomination from Bob Dole. Although none of Jackson, Perot or Buchanan were as serious a statesman or as qualified a candidate as Cain, they were far, far better known nationally than Cain is or will be on January 2012 when caucus and primary voters first exercise their vote, and it
would be extremely uphill for Cain to mount a successful presidential campaign with those strikes against him. It would have been very different had Cain been elected to the Senate when he ran in 2004 (the same year as Obama, BTW), or even had he been elected to Congress or the governorship in 2006, 2008 or 2010.

I love Herman Cain to death, but unfortunately his presidential candidacy may be doomed ab initio, just as that of that other principled, eloquent conservative whom I supported, Alan Keyes. (And Keyes had the advantage of being able to place the title of Ambassador before his name due to his service as President Reagan’s ambassador to a UN agency.).

I’ve had the same observations as you. Mr. Cain does not have the resume in politics, which, in the past would be a death blow to his candidacy for POTUS. I think that the playing field changed in 2008. The clown who currently occupies White House spent but 6 years in the Illinois Senate (voting present) and 1 term in the U.S. Senate (gearing up for a Presidential run).
If the cult of personality can get THAT man elected, then Mr. Cain has a chance. He has personality to spare and actual substance to boot. What he needs is money. I’m convinced that he will connect with America once they get to “meet” him.
I think he could be our next Reagan.

There are millions of hard working black people in this country who are more conservative than Rush Limbaugh on many issues. If they ever wake up and start voting their beliefs instead of simply assuming that the Democrats are on their side the left will be out of business. Living where I do I have met all kinds of “African-Americans”, some of them are whining, lazy, shiftless, the very stereotype of the worst kind of people you can imagine. On the other hand a high percentage are hard working, traditional salt of the Earth types who are polite, pleasant and just a joy to be around. If the Tea party is attracting black people you can be assured that it is attracting the very best, the ones who see that the left is not their friend. For them to join in would be the best thing I can imagine.

Education on the issues is the key. I’ve had some discussions regarding my opposition to Obamacare where we were on opposite sides. I showed him where to find the information that supports my argument. He did look it up and had to concede days later, that my points were valid. So hopefully, attitudes are changing for the better.

Blacks, and, please stop calling them African-Americans, The overwhelming majority of Blacks in the USA are as diversified as any other race and are certainly not African, but are just plain ole Americans for generations. Now Blacks have been in America for over four hundred years and...we still call them African Americans. IMHO, that is an insult. Do you have any idea how many Blacks gave their lives to defend the Freedoms of America. Shucks, The Italians, Irish, etc. have only been here for 150 years or so and no one calls them hyphenated names anymore. This African-American “thing” is just to keep the natives in the tribe by the likes of Obama, the NAACP and the CBC which all do nearly nothing to better Blacks across the board. Yeh, free handouts, that’s really gonna help!!! Folks, Black, White, Hispanic, Asian, Oriental, Muslim, Jew, etc., there ain’t no such thing as a free lunch!!! And....the sooner we destroy the likes of Obama and his failure Democrat Party and throw them out of office the better this country and the good people in it will be. Bank on it, folks!!! And....come 2012, dump Obama and destroy the Democrat Party at the polls.
