Aid and Comfort - How leading Democrats enabled the Iraqi insurgency in Fallujah
American Thinker ^ | 10/15/10 | Scott Swett

Posted on 10/15/2010 12:27:00 PM PDT by American Dream 246

New information is emerging about efforts by major Democratic Party figures to undercut American war efforts in Iraq by providing aid to the insurgents.

Lt. Col. Buzz Patterson's article Treason in America details how a coalition of radical organizations, including US-based Code Pink, delivered some $600,000 in cash and supplies to insurgents and their families in Fallujah, just days after 51 American troops were killed there in some of the bloodiest action of the Iraq war. An approving article published in Islam Online tipped off the connection between the anti-American Global Exchange coalition and the Democrats who made their venture possible:

They secured diplomatic courtesy letters from US Senators Barbara Boxer of California and Raul Grijalva of Arizona and Congressmen Dennis Kucinich of Ohio and Henry Waxman of California.

Islam Online deleted the incriminating page, which had been online since early 2005, on October 12, less than an hour after the publication of my American thinker article describing the close relationship between Senator Barbara Boxer and Code Pink. A cached version is still available.

Buzz Patterson's new article provides the actual letter written by Congressman Henry Waxman to the US Embassy in Aman, Jordan on behalf of the pro-insurgent group. The letter has a Congressional letterhead and is dated December 14, 2004 - while American troops were still fighting in Fallujah. It asks the Consul General to provide "any assistance you could offer" to the Global Exchange coalition during its mission to deliver supplies to the insurgency.

The corresponding diplomatic letters written by Senator Boxer and Congressmen Kucinich and Grijalva have not yet been made public. No doubt they, too, would make interesting reading.

At what point do we not wait for elections to remove these treasonous traiters?

I don't know when America decided to give up on prosecuting traitors, but I do know that the lack of action against Jane Fonda let the barn out for decades of traitors coming out from every rock to destroy and demean the US.

We gave up when the DNC/Hollywood/Academia war room gained superiority in our foreign policy, domestic policy, elections, and culture.

We have allowed it for 40 years running.

If someone lost a son there, a young Marine. I don’t know how they would restrain the natural impulse to become violent with the congressmen and senators who PAID cash to the enemy. Cash that likely paid to kill more Americans.

Just like funeral protesters. I am continually amazed that no broken hearted parent, with nothing to lose, hasn’t resorted to open violence.

Thanks for mentioning...My cousin did die there. He was a young marine & my aunt’s only child....I pray for our country & mourn for every soldier as our goverment officials find more & more ways to dishonor the sacrifice of our military.

One of ours is double-amputee from Fallujah. They almost got him, but he is a tough kid. Marines. Yes, how do you absorb the fact that people, supposedly leaders and patriots, were working against our boys? It is too much to take in.

To you and Veronica, i cannot imagine how you guys must feel. I was a Marine over there in Desert Storm,, and couldn’t believe how good this generation performed there. We were the last of the old cold war style.

This new bunch of Marines continually amaze me. In all candor, they possess a level of skill and professionalism we never dared dream of.

But i am just as dismayed when i see how US politicians and Military brass have utterly betrayed them.
The kids that fought there will truly be appreciated more and more by history, as the years pass. Decades from now, they will be a hallowed part of American history, loyal during an era of treason.

You need to make sure everyone in their units and their friends know about this. This needs to spread.

I hope for the sake of our sons and their peer age group veterans, that history plays out in such as way as to validate the importance of what they did there. It seems there is so much political correctness involved in recording “history” these days. My son and his wife are expecting a baby. I envision him someday telling his child about what they did in Iraq and how it made a difference to the world.

And these Fallujah Marines,, were 14, 15, 16 years olds when they watched as their people were attacked on 9/11. They did what they thought was right. Many expected their country would feel nothing but pride and love for them.

I think in their youth, they never understood the treachery that Democrat leaders 4 times their age, would hold for them. These kids never saw how the left acted towards soldiers during Vietnam. I honestly hope the ones that left us too soon, never came to the understanding that some people here were actively helping the enemy.

WTF.

Wonder how David Bellavia takes this?

Fox should do more, and if there’s a chance, at some upcoming debate, Boxer should be asked about this.

How could they do this? What convoluted reasonings led them to the rationale for this.

How come Bush, Cheney, the Amman Diplos and the US military let this happen?

As for the future, here is a way to think. (if i may be so bold) Notice how many politicans and losers today fraudulently claim Vietnam service. Even notice that none seem to brag about waving a VC flag and burning their draft cards?

The war with Islam is far more clear cut. Our kids who VOLUNTARILY went over there will be seen as our most moral, intelligent, and decent kids. Our very best, the very flower of American society. People will want to be associated with them. Boxer etc will fade into shame.

150 years from now, they will be the ones who first fought to save us,, or as the only ones who tried. Heroes all. Every American should love them and show them the deepest gratitude.

“You need to make sure everyone in their units and their friends know about this. This needs to spread.”

Send this to Barbara Boxers Opponent Carly Florina. This change needs to be fully investigated, if she did commit treason not only should she lose her bid for reelection she should be tried and hanged.

How many Californians lost their lives in Fallujah?
