Airing right now...said the real unemployment is at 17.5%...showing tons of people with masters, bachelors, phd's, you name it...unemployed for 2 years...can't even get jobs at Target.
Over 22% of the unemployed are college grads. Reporting on the part timer’s...people living on couches who worked in Silicon Valley...living in cars. Empty buildings that used to bustle.

The middle class has been destroyed more or less now. With a degree you aren’t going to get any lower jobs to get by. You are overqualified.
I never watch 60 Minutes anymore. For decades it has been nothing more than a platform for DNC talking points.
Unless 60 Minutes is talking about the failure of Zero while showing this, it is a hit against Bush and all Republicans.
Nope. Not one mention of Bush. All they said was over the last 2 years. No mention of Bush or Republicans at all. They just said Congress won’t add more benefits or weeks to unemployment because of the highest debt in our history that we already have.

This was a direct hit on Obama and Dems. Nobody else. You saw people who had worked all of their lives who were forced to cash in on everything...and still face losing their homes in 3 months. Not one mention of Bush or blaming Bush. This was something else.

There’s a reason they are exposing this and I don’t think it’s because they believe Bam has failed. Whatever the reason is, it’s NOT because they want to change the country back or help conservatives or help the Tea party.
I noticed not one mention of Obama (except a sign at the soup kitchen) but it was devastating to air this so close to the election. If this piece doesn’t convince people to not vote to overturn our anti-business government, I don’t know what will.
EVERY face of these unemployed were 50-ish former yuppies with great incomes that are now dumpster diving and using food banks just to get by.
As a 50+ who may be weeks away from being laid off myself, it was frightening.
