GO GRANGERS - I grew up in Dallas and the Rangers were my team for 15 years, now in SF for 20 years and the Giants are it, but my team WILL win.

The Texas Rangers in the World Series. Who would have thought it? I thinks this is one of the signs of the Apocalypse.

Still not going to watch. The Rangers do better when I don’t watch.

LOL! I don’t usually get interested in baseball until the post season. It’s especially interesting with the Rangers in it this year. ;o)

I’m pulling for the Rangers for Nolan Ryan and ...
I’m pulling for the Rangers because the liberals like the Giants.

I couldn’t find a live thread so I thought i’d try this one.

That because no one will be watching this particular World Series; according to every Skankee and Red Sux fan on the east coast. Shame to miss out on this great pitching match-up...

I have loved baseball since one summer in west Texas sitting with grandpa listening to a game, it was Detroit and Mickey Lolich against Baltimore and Jim Palmer.
I still prefer to listen than to watch it.
This will be the first time for my son and daughter that are 9 and 10 to really get into the series, we go to the park once or twice a year.

This Giants fan believe that the superior pitching roster AND 1-run game experience will lead the Giants to victory in 6 games, max.

5 likely.

Team ERA below 3...inclusive of the deepest bullpen in the majors.

Philly had bats AND pitching and we took them out.

Texas has...a pitcher and a bunch of bats.

That Texas lineup can score runs, lots of them and fast. But I do like the Giants pitching and those beards are cool on the bullpen guys.

I am a Yankees fan because they're exactly what the best team in the history of the game should be.

And I'm a big fan of most things Texan.

However, I think I can relate to these Giants, if indeed they're a collection of castoffs and misfits, as they've been categorized. When Brian Wilson said, "It's epic, I thought, "I like his attitude."
