I think this is a warning to Obama. They are telling him that they won’t carry his water forever. They are ready to open up with both barrels if he doesn’t stabilize the situation FAST.
They hoped the second great depression would spur the public to the left just like the first. Quite the opposite is happening and so the misery is no fun at all anymore...

I don't know. There's no way she had a chance against Obama last time, they were all too busy being enchanted. Now he's managed to PO everyone except the most gray matter starved zombies out there. Did you see the way that group at the VFW hall answered the questions asked by the interviewer? "I don't care about nothin' except that I'm unemployed" and "the government needs to do something about it." With that mindset, no wonder they are in their predicament. No wonder they voted for Ø.
A good chunk of Iowa has nobody to blame but itself.

Honestly I am beyond feeling sorry for people that voted for Obama. Their vote for Obama and crew affects my family adversely and I have no choice but to suffer through their ignorant vote. Do they really think there is no difference between parties? They need to “man up” and pay attention to who they vote for.
Their real fear is people might get hip and turn these propagandists off as they backed the muslim 100%. If people yank the plug on TV - their businesses are DEAD.

I agree with your theory. You can see the early work to takeover food distribution (people may eat too much or the wrong things, food deserts, transfats), housing (livable communities act) and I predict next in the crosshairs will be 401K and retirement funds to save SS.

When we drive back home to visit the folks and compare today's Iowa to that it was like when we were starting our family, it sometimes brings me to the verge of tears.
For years, the Dems in the the legislature robbed the state to bankroll the education establishment, and when Iowa put Vilsack in office, they basically signed the deed over. There isn't much left here but teachers, administrators and contractors who constantly build new structures for kids who leave the state upon graduation.

If we must have government take over our lives and extinguish liberty, then let’s let the Chinese do it. They are much smarter and more efficient than the Democrat/Socialist morons the universities here have miseducated. Of course, ignorant evildoers are easier to foil, so it’s a wash.

Union built crap killed Maytag. My dad worked for Maytag. I’ve been in that plant many times and even helped tear part of it down when it closed.

What happened to Detroit is now happening to the whole country: lavish retirement plans and health coverage for the retired (entitlements like SS and Medicare) are sapping economic growth.
