Hubby and I just returned from polls here in TN. We were told that this is the first time they had ever seen a steady stream of voters ....starting at 7am....with NO dead periods!

Let's hope there are no dead voters, either.

Cheers!

A few anecdotes from Central MN...

Front page article in the Brainerd Dispatch today about voter fraud with the elderly (they were instructed to vote straight DFL). Very interesting that it was on the front page

http://www.brainerddispatch.com/stories/110210/new_20101102028.shtml

Then hubby & I went to vote @ 9am (earlier than usual for us)--- I was # 67 --- which I normally have seen around 12-1pm at our voting place --- so higher than normal turnout. We are in a generally republican area (small polling place though).

Then hubby went out to the hunting land and just called me in amazement. He told me that from our place to the land, there were tons of Emmer signs (rep for gov), but none to be seen for Dayton (yep -- Mark, chicken sh## Dayton, democrap). Hubby told me that in the past he would see lots of dem signs up, but NONE this year.

Oh hoping that MN will finally wise up this year and put Dayton out to pasture. We have been talking about moving out of here and the election of Dayton will speed things up faster than anything else.

“Nah, this is NoVA, it couldn’t happen. Or could it?”

Moron is the most accurately named politician in the Commonwealth. Anything is possible. If he loses tonight, and we should know relatively early, this is not a tsunami: it’s an extinction event.

That’s okay, I don’t mind waiting. Then I can say I voted on NOVEMBER 2, 2010—THE DAY THAT TURNED THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION ON ITS HEAD. :-)

Just hoping this big storm passes quickly so me and the kiddos can get out before too late! :-)

Just read Harry Reid’s internal polls show him up 5-8 points??

Internal poll - they're either lying or worded the question in a biased way. Hoping.....

I received notice that I hadn’t signed my envelope when I sent in my ballot. I drove 30 miles to get to the county voting area to sign it yesterday.

I really thought I had signed it. I even told my husband to make sure to sign his envelope. Hope it wasn’t messed with!
We both voted straight Republican.

Voted in the VA 10th district for Frank Wolf. Moderate volume. As of 1150, I was voter #298 in the electronic voting. No idea as to how many voters used paper ballots--we had a choice.

I also spent two hours as a poll watcher in another precinct that is heavily Dem. Turnout was low. 197 electronic and 125 paper as of 11 am. Voters appeared evenly split to a slight Dem majority. Good for us.

Local radio reporting that 3 polling places in Lebanon, PA were having trouble with voting machines.

People wanting to vote Republican were surprised to find the machine was coming up Democrat.

Local authorities were called, the machines re calibrated, and the problem was said to be resolved.

yeah, I saw that most examples had spaces in them. I didn’t realize the spaces negated the html. that’s an easier way to explain it to someone. thx.

grey_whiskers’ post didn’t though and still showed up - pretty clever.
