Thanks Karl Rove. Thanks Mike Castle. Thanks GOP elites. Conservative Christine ODonnell carried the tea party voters. She bested the bearded Marxist with independents. But, she did not carry enough REPUBLICANS to win in Delaware tonight. What an absolute shame.

She did better than Mark Kirk? Are you bad at math or a Democrat????
I agree. To hell with any “but it’s the R” candidate arguments. Go conservative, or go the hell home.
No candidate endorsed or supported by Karl Rove will ever win an election again.
You held your temper well but maybe you should have just let go and shouted:
“KARL ROVE GAVE THE SENATE SEAT TO A MARXIST!”
This is true. There is a class of Republican that prizes position within the party all else.
They represent the runaway spending and slow slide towards big government that has been the hallmark of Republicans granted power.
Rove and his ilk distrust the Tea Party movement because they can’t control it, and will let the house burn down around them rather than let the grass roots conservatives be in charge of putting it out.
Disgusting.
He spit in the face of EVERY principle that he worked under with President Bush, and has made a mockery of the Republican leadership. He's the quintessential corrupt bastard.
If you watch the video with the original article on this thread, the numbers on the graphic show Coons winning Independents, the opposite of what the reporter said.
Given that O'Donnell lost by 16 points, it's exceedingly mathematically dubious that she won independents. I'm guessing the teleprompter text was entered incorrectly or the reporter mis-spoke.
I’d like to shout, but I’ll get over it. Rove DESTROYED the entire night, when we should be celebrating, he peed on it all.
My thoughts, moving forward:
Any show Rove appears on, boycotted.
Any candidate that hires him, will work against them 100%.
If the GOP continues to listen to him, never a penny or a vote for them, again.
Fox News, are you listening? If he still has a job there, I will not watch anymore.
I know Levin is pissed. Hannity? Do you still want ratings? Rush?
Rove is dead to me. Period. He has disgraced his party, his principles, and all because his fragile ego was broken because a little girl beat the pants off his candidate.
With people like Rove, why bother fighting the eventual Socialist takeover?
Karl Rove, you should be ashamed of yourself. But you’re not, and that’s why you have to go. For good.
Listen up, GOP. Rove means you lose it all. All the money, all the votes.
Ignore this at your peril.
Ok, thanks for the correction about the Independent numbers.
There’s really no good reason for you to have first hand knowledge of what he did. Bail on RINO radio! I did back when I realized he was 1. Pro-amnesty, and 2. a RINO, dem-lite shill. He’s a cheerleader for the milquetoast, Republican insider country club set. He’s not a conservative.
One of the strengths of the conservative Constitutional movement is that we donate directly to candidates and don't go through the RNC or other centralized locations. We can tell any Rove backers exactly why we aren't using their services...
That's no act!
He'll get his come-uppance.
I’m sorry, but this wasn’t Rove’s fault. She could have gotten past all that baggage, and it was a LOT of baggage, by running ads that were more in line with the 25 minute spot that she ran the last couple of days. So positive, so appealing. Instead, she goes with the stupid “I’m not a witch” and “I’m you.” Those ads were ridiculous and whoever advised her to run them was clueless. That’s why she lost so badly, not because of Karl Rove.
agreed, they will hear from us! it’s bullcrap.
Diverdogz: “She did better than Mark Kirk? Are you bad at math or a Democrat????”
No, I was comparing earlier results. Kirk is doing better now, but he’s certainly not doing as well as the RINOs said he was. This was supposed to be a wash for him.
As for calling me a Democrat, I refrain from personal attacks so I won’t imply anything about you. I expect the same in kind, but unfortunately, too many posters here ignore the rules. You could have simply stated I was wrong and maybe even posted a current comparison if you were trying to make a polite point.
This is entirely the voters in Delaware, who evidently aren't hurting enough yet, and decided to leave their children an additional generation of onerous debt.
I wonder how big a number will convince them?
I wish she won but it tends to be a liberal state...
