Mystery Missiles - Why Are We Stuck on Stupid?
AntiMullah ^ | 11/13/10 | Alan Peters

The video below suggests the mystery missile launch was the USA showing Asia/China and Russia our ability to launch Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) from a submarine while OBAMBI is in Asia!

Since when has there been ANY doubt we have the capability to do this? That the USA has submarine launch ability to hit China or to hit Russia!

The first, a Pacific launch was 35 miles off Southern California and headed on a North-East - across America trajectory.

The second, shortly after that, was a first ever Atlantic launch and reportedly went up above New York.

It was a super-secret North Korean launch of a submarine based variant of their No-Dong missile at the behest of the Iranians, who are actively seeking missiles for their nuclear warheads.

Really! Honestly! The Chinese have nothing on the advanced, state of the art North Korean technology.

:-P

It scares the pee out of me.

Heaven above, in a sense, we have been saved from Obama and the fed from running up hyperinflation to pay off our Chinese debt by... China.

Talk about a rock and a hard place... its the difference between being bitten by a vampire or a werewolf, dead no matter what.

THANKS LIBERAL DEMOCRATS. You homicidal psychotic bastards. May ya roast hoist upon your own petards with the crying of George Soros the music to your pathetic waltz.

My husband was a submariner. He has his dolphins. He says this was a launch. As far as I am concerned, considering he has been aboard a boat which has launched one in certification tests (No payload of course, it was a TEST.) I am utterly CERTAIN he knows more about these things than anyone on the news other than another submariner rated for Boomers.

This was a launch.

Could it have been THT7 out of LAX at 1731 North of Catalina Island?? At 12 thousand feet? That makes no sense though. That contrail went below the clowds at the horizon it was coming from the west and arced towards the NW from what I can see based on the sunlight on the contrail itself.

This was a launch, not an aircraft.

Their ability was already out in the open when they appeared in the middle of our carrier group so no secret needed to be retained.

The move was to show they were prepared to use it - if.... from either (equally vulnerable) coast of our nation. Again think EMP rather than deadly force.

The rub for the Pentagon is that we do NOT have a way to prevent it! And both sides know this.

Two long coasts we cannot cover with China still not an “enemy” out to get us - unless we/Obama pursue the economical policy that will kill their economy and in their eyes is unreasonable and in the end if they are going to be so badly damaged then they might as well reduce our economy to frozen EMP “ashes”.

Makes a ton of sense to warn us to be very careful how we proceed and what we do - or face consequences - which they clearly show they can deliver.

Makes excellent sense does it not? Specially to Chinese minds which at this point in time are not YET eager for mutual self-destruction.

What remains to be seen are our actions and consequences they engender and if Obama has the ability to see this through his radical and ideological mindsets.

Sadly it is also a time when Amendment 25 and Article 4 beckon even among his supporters so we are all balancing on a knife’s edge. With survival as individuals and a nation and a world hanging in the balance.

over and out.

It looks like a missile, dozens of highly credible and experienced experts, have identified it as a missile...but you say it's a plane. Tell me the flight / plane that made this contrail.

It wasn't flight 808

nevermind, should always read the thread first! See a lot of folks pointing at UPS902, will check it out.

How can people see multiple contrails like this that are IDENTICAL to the ‘missile’ and not make the connection?

I'd bring up a certain topic that used to be frequently discussed here but I won't. I only mention it because it's the same sort of reasoning skills involved.

I don't think it was our missile.  I think it was China's.

So do I. Let’s hope Obambi gets the message and stops spending us, China and the world into financial oblivion. Though truth be told I don’t think he really cares beyond making the most of his time in the White Hut.

When things get really bad he will simply disappear into Kenya and live like the king he thinks he is - at their expense. Their third world economy will survive the downfall of the civilized world So hd hs his bolt hole prepared.

Chinese sup pops up in middle of U.S. Navy exercise, leaving military chiefs red-faced

That incident happened in 2007. The ship's captain was relieved of command. Unsure about the group commander. The Kitty Hawk has since been decommissioned.

Sunsets and jet contrails happen every single day, but not every day has just the right mix of magical ingredients at just the right moment to produce a visually striking scene.

For example, if I had been standing somewhere else during the exact 60 seconds bracketing the moment I took this photo, it would not have looked anything like what you see here:

Kansas Sunset

I'm sure that he found the orange glow of the contrail to be just as visually striking as I did this Kansas sunset.

And contrails can certainly make for some extremely visually striking photographs:

~ Sunrise Raceway ~

How about this, is this a missile launch?

Jetting to Tahoe

It looks vertical, but it's horizontal, just like the one in LA.

It was later determined that UPS flight 902 fit the facts better. It was beginning its descent for landing, and dropped out of the upper layer of the atmosphere where the contrail was forming thus clipping off the near end.

Excuse me, but you are jumping to conclusion. Where did I say I thought it was a missile or an aircraft?

I'm sure that he found the orange glow of the contrail to be just as visually striking as I did this Kansas sunset.

There you go again with what you think. I can do that, also, and don't need any help doing it. I was asking about the photographer's intention since it was noted on this thread that this happens all the time - it's seen often.

Other than that, great photos. Thanks, I enjoyed them.

It was the Chi Coms. A Russian boomer could not sneak through our defenses as we track them by their radiation trails. They leak like sieves.

If this was in fact a missile literally dozens if not hundreds of military personnel throughout the country would know it. Somehow I think one of them would call/leak it to the NY Slimes or Washington Post about the surprise missile launch off L.A. Even rumours of it would have spread everywhere. NORAD, Vandenberg, countless other bases, the Pacific fleet...we are talking a massive coverup that would surpass the coverup that we actually landed on the moon.../sarc.

From the beginning I have had my doubts about anything nefarious from either side of this “sighting”...

The area about 35 miles off the beach of California there is a known US Navy operating/training area...That particular area if it hasn’t changed since the mid to late 80’s is mainly used for Air operations and training...It is always been that way and civilain flights are routed to keep clear of the boundaries of it for obvious reasons...

Sure, the video and pictures are compelling, but there is no way a US missile launching asset (SSBN) would launch from this SOCAL OP AREA...Ther is also no way a foreign submarine of any class or nation would get to within 800-1000 miles of our coast without being detected and an “asset” be assigned to go out and localize and perform the usual “games” with the submerged contact...

I remember we were pulled off of CBG duty on our way back from the IO in 1986...We were ordered to depart from the BG when we left Pearl Harbor to proceed to the “datum” of a Russian Victor III class boat parked about 400nm off of bouy 1SF (San Fransisco)...We got there, localized the Russian sub, they did their best to elude us, but we reaquired everytime, till we absolutely had to get back to San Diego to end our deployment...

This kind of stuff must still happen these days, and it is very unlikely anything has slipped through, or even concieved of having the objective of launching their own missile (rocket) this close to our shoreline...

There is really nothing to benefit (politically or militarily) for any nation (Russia, China) to conduct an operation like this...Their SSBN fleet is not that good to evade our system this close to our home waters...They operate (deploy to “bastions”that are covered (protected) by their own nations airforce and navies...There is just no reason to venture farther out than that...

This is just a funny looking contrail of an aircraft that just had the right conditions to look like something more ominous...

But still, this whole thing makes for great discussion and speculation, with the government one again seeing how far misinformation, or no information can go in the media and public perception...
