“We are the ones we’ve been waiting for” — I’m assuming that’s the message of your picture. They all look like smug, European marionettes and that, I guess, is who we’ll be. So much for multiculti diversity.

i agree we should meet in DC on Jan 21st. the problem is Odumber would view this as a civil uprising. the guy is just waiting for something to happen and he will shut down the internet, and talk radio. thn he has the control he desires. It is all about control, nothing more.

Odumber is a marxist parasite. Just like george Soros is another Marxist Parasite - Revoke his naturalization and deport ther SOB. freeze all his assets and arrest his parasite sons

This struggle is no longer about conservativism versus liberalism... it is about good versus evil. The bad guys are in the wire, and I’m ready to mop the frigging floor with them for trying to destroy my country.

You’re right on and I’m with you!

When I can walk around the District of Columbia armed, I might consider a trip to D.C.

You can. Criminals do all the time.

You might get harassed by cops or lowlifes. But that's a gut check thing.

What is your freedom worth?

I've pretty much got a measure of what it means to you.

All Freepers living in California should be pulling their ejection seat handles now.

I'm a native Californio who pulled the lever on my ejection seat five years ago. Landed in North Texas and couldn't be happier.

Thanks Neil E. Wright.
As Orrin Hatch appropriately stated this morning on FOX News, "if Obamacare is allowed to stand, it means that the government can make us do literally anything."

I’ve been to DC a few times, and feel nothing I said or did made any difference. They don’t listen and don’t change, and we need to learn from that.

But I agree that something must be done. It’s been long and expensive trips from Colorado, and fruitless so far. How is this time going to be different from the others?

...and my children!! >:-(

Good vs. evil is exactly right! Then enemy within has pulled off the kid gloves and is outrightly attacking the very fiber of this country’s being—we have to take off the kid gloves and fight back equally tough (forget this PC crap!) or America as we know it goes the way of ancient Rome!

I for one will fight to the last to prevent that from happening...I refuse to leave a country that is worse than it was when I was a child as a legacy for my children and their children!! >:-(

Yes, JimRob should move to north Texas—I have a feeling Texas may be in the forefront of some future civil ‘battles’—this is the place to be if you want to stay free according to the US Constitution!

Wonder what Martin Luther King would have accomplished had he stopped when the Government wouldn’t listen to him either. But he marched on and on until they did...and so did all the citizens who longed to be free. We all should at least have the degree of steadfastness and resolve that these citizens had....what an example!

So no...I do not agree with your remarks that these gatherings do not matter....they have and they will...the elections proved as much and will in the future.

For all the credit given MLK and Ghandi (who MLK modeled)...

That works in a society where there’s FREE PRESS willing to cover/promote the cause.

Think about it.

You march in China, you’re shot. Never reported. Never happened. Ditto under Hitler.

Ghandi and MLK used the press to get out their message but without a system which values freedom of speech — even dissent — non-violence simply does not work to affect change.

And I agree with you... these marches have an effect.

I read some on liberal sites (to know the enemy) and some liberals say the tea party gatherings/town hall meetings/marches swayed the election. So these events, while greatly downplayed in the media, ARE noticed. It’s an accumulative effect and we must keep the pressure on, now that we have the clear upper hand.

Great post & thread.

I recall a discussion awhile ago, about how to get those in DC to take notice. Revolved around ‘traffic’. Lots & lots of vehicles....preferably big ones.

It sure would be a shame if some convoy of trucks, ALL took a wrong turn off an exit ramp, and dozens & dozens of them wound up in DC blocking traffic. :)

And, of course, just a coincidence that it was the same day that a legion of patriots were hanging around the capital..

Right on, brother. Imagine the load they would drop in their pants if they see 1 million True Americans on their doorsteps.
It would be a real grassroots thing. No Unions paying for people to come. No Blogger hag springing for buses. No expert printed signs. Just real people expressing their concerns.
