Julian Assange should be awarded Nobel peace prize, suggests Russia

Russia has suggested that Julian Assange should be awarded the Nobel peace prize, in an unexpected show of support from Moscow for the jailed WikiLeaks founder.

In what appears to be a calculated dig at the US, the Kremlin urged non-governmental organisations to think seriously about "nominating Assange as a Nobel Prize laureate".

"Public and non-governmental organisations should think of how to help him," the source from inside president Dmitry Medvedev's office told Russian news agencies. Speaking in Brussels, where Medvedev was attending a Russia-EU summit yesterday , the source went on: "Maybe, nominate him as a Nobel Prize laureate."

The Terrorists BO and algore got peace prizes didn't they?

Contact your congressman, senators, County Sheriff, DA, State Legislators, Governor, and County Grand Jury Foreman and demand that they indict, prosecute, convict and imprison BO, Big Sis and all of their local co-conspirators for leaking information to WikiLeaks and all the other crimes: Voter Fraud, Identity Theft, Illegal Foreign Campaign Contributions, TSA Sexual Assaults, Embezzlement of Government funds etc.

Mark Levin: “The possibility of impeachment does not immunize the president from criminal prosecution. He remains, at all times, a citizen of the United States who is answerable to the law.”

Clever. Attempt to deimplicate themselves from any accident he might befall.

I guess if they’ll give one to Gore, they’ll give one to anybody. If this is the Russians’ best shot at a ‘dig’ against the US they’ve really gotten lame.

Nah, we Brits recognise sarcasm - this is a jibe at America - take it on the chin.

If B.O. had any baIIz, he’d have his researchers find some Russian who has recently done something to advance democracy in Russia (thus royally pissing them off) and suggest THEM for the (worthless) NPP. Surely their jails have a few likely candidates.

Sarcasm? Being facetious?

I don’t think so. Based on the dismal and pathetic record of the NPP, this is a very real possibility.

We'll throw Russia's nominee in the hopper, along with the US news media's pick, the hackers currently vandalizing VISA, MC, etc sites.

The gushing worshipfullness of the news reporting on these clowns today truly is sickening.

Whoever could expose the dirty tricks, murders and treachery of the Russian autocracy would certainly deserve a Nobel Prize. That would be movie making material for the next fifty years. Likewise, if leaky Julian could expose all the underhanded dealings of the banker elites who have stolen and squandered trillions of dollars from Americans, I would say give the boy a bronze rubber, and give him his own reality TV show. Only a moron would have a huff over anyone spying on a worthless organization like the UN. It’s like keeping an eye on a drug addled, mentally deranged street urchin who is breaking into your house.
