I kept the dog and got a .38 to go with her. ;)
He left right after Jim Rob zotted him.
For real?
WOW! You’re gone for a month or two and come back and look what’s happened!! Did Jim finally get tired of the pit bull postings or was it something else? (I’m thinking it was more than that...?)
Too bad Vick wasn’t with him....
Nice job. Nice addition!
We have two Black Labs, of which the female is around 68 pounds. She was spayed a week ago and the vet marked obese on the paperwork. Our Labs are not of the tall variety. Our male is much leaner than our female.

Get a life, ah. Zot!

ya, there are different kinds, like field dogs versus show etc.
I will say there’s an old saying, once you go hound you don’t go back. I will have to say there is truth to that, my black and tan coonhound does it all heh. I will always love labs too though.
My short, female yellow Lab is 74lbs. No way obese.
Your dogs sound fine....even though they hog your bed! lol.
The Choc sleeps where my feet ought to go, the Black sleeps on top of my husband (Doggy Breath Special), and the Yellow squirms in between us and hogs the covers and ALL the pillows.
So usually the Black and the Yellow sleep in their crates (rank has its privileges). The Choc still takes up 1/3 of my side, and she only weighs 38 pounds (we call her the Miniature Lab).
We're gonna get a king sized bed one of these days. My parents gave us one from their condo when they shut it down, but the mattress is too soft so it's in the guest room. We like a mattress with about the consistency of igneous rock.
My Labs sound like a gross of Rottweilers, but they'd probably hold the flashlight for a burglar and give him kisses into the bargain. Although I'm not so sure about Psycho Ruby. She might bite. If the burglar looks like a mallard.
Got 3 labs in the backyard. I live in a bad neighborhood but they keep people out of the backyard. Neighbors call them the wolfpack. Any sound, and off to the fence they go barking and bouncing on it.
Ha ha. Ours Too !
That’s where the band took its name, “Three Dog Night”
One interesting point that has come up is that some of the very short-legged and stocky lines carry a gene for dwarfism. Probably not a good thing to perpetuate, but so long as the judges are rewarding short fat dogs we'll get more of them, and shorter and fatter.
Of course, the show people complain that our field Labs look more like hounds with a Lab head stuck on. Certainly my Ruby is one of the leanest Labs I've ever run across, she's built like a greyhound.
My Choc's dad is a classic heavyset short show Lab - a Champion -
But her mother was a field dog sired by the only Chocolate Lab ever to win the national field title - "Rascal" -
She's an interesting blend of field and show - got the snipey field head from her mom but a pretty nice body from her dad, although she's undersized - only 19 1/2 inches at the shoulder.
My third Lab, the little yellow, is field bred but not an extreme type. I think she's a nice all-round Lab, we could probably show her if we put some weight on her, but that's about as likely to happen as our all going to the moon.
We can safely say he wasn't his high school valedictorian. Looks about as sharp as bowling ball.
Beautiful dogs! Thanks for sharing the photo’s!
Not necessarily. If you want to steal some drugs you need to aim very high or very low.
Any excuse to brag on my babies! They are real sweethearts and all hard-working girls.
Thanks for the insight. I’m guessing it was an ugly rant or something? Must have been for Jim Rob to “zot” him. (By the way, I’ve never seen an explanation of what exactly it means to be “zotted”? Is it the same as having your posts removed?)
